DEX Exchange Review: Unlicensed Crypto and CFD Platform

In the crypto world the abbreviation "DEX" stands for decentralised exchange; digitalexpertsxchange.com, however, uses the term as a brand while being a fully centralised and unauthorised investment site. DEX Exchange claims to offer CFD, forex, binary options, stocks and bonds alongside crypto assets. On 21.07.2026 the FCA added the platform to its list of unauthorised financial service providers.

In short: DEX Exchange is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Under a name that suggests a decentralised exchange, the platform collects investors' money in accounts it controls, and it appears to be linked to a network of sites using the same phone number. Claiming the transferred money back is legally possible.

🪤 The Misleading "DEX" Name

On a genuine decentralised exchange, users keep their assets in their own wallets and transactions run through smart contracts. On DEX Exchange, the investor sends money to an account or wallet shown by the platform, and the "balance" is nothing more than a figure displayed on the site's own dashboard. When a withdrawal is requested, there is nothing behind that figure to pay it out.
