Sinox FX Scam Warning: Fake Tax Demand on Withdrawal

Sinox FX, which used a Bur Dubai address, was a forex platform promising leverage of up to 1:1000, an MT5 account and PAMM/MAM managed accounts. Anyone visiting sinoxfx.com today meets a domain sales page; the platform itself has long since disappeared.

In short: Sinox FX is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK), and no regulatory registration was shown in any country. Demanding an extra payment called "tax" when a withdrawal is requested is a known step of this scheme. Claiming the deposited money back is legally possible.

🔍 Platform Profile

Name SinoxFX Limited (UK company registration, no FCA authorisation)
Address Bur Dubai, UAE
Telephone +971 52 356 7495
E-mail [email protected]
Domain First registered 06.04.2021; for sale today

Although the domain was acquired in 2021, the site claimed a history going back years with the notice "© 2016". It also emerged that the positive reviews written in the platform's favour came from accounts linked to sales staff.

💸 The "Tax" Demand on Withdrawal

The account manager first has the investor trade for a few weeks and builds up the balance. When a withdrawal is requested, an additional payment called "tax" is demanded before the money can be released; after the payment is made, the manager can no longer be reached.

🔗 Other Platforms That Tie Withdrawals to Extra Payments

We have previously written about platforms that ask for a final payment under the name of "tax" or "withdrawal commission".

🧭 What Comes Next

Acts committed by using computer systems as a tool are treated as qualified fraud under Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Penal Code. Refunds from an overseas forex firm and the money laundering linkTR concerning the accounts the money was sent to are the two main axes of each case.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

sinoxfx.com appears to be for sale. Has Sinox FX closed completely?

The platform has stopped operating and the domain has been released and registered again. This does not prevent past transfers from being traced.

Does the number +971 52 356 7495 belong to Sinox FX?

This number was published as the platform's own contact detail.

Was Sinox FX being a UK company not a sign of reliability?

No. Setting up a company in the UK does not give permission to act as a forex intermediary; FCA authorisation is required for this activity, and there was no such record.

Can the person managing my PAMM account still be reached?

In schemes of this kind, account managers cut contact after the withdrawal stage; the same team may reappear under a different brand name.

I am a victim of Sinox FX. What can be done?
