Britmart (newbritmart.com) Task Scam: USDT Deposits Required

Britmart is a site that offers users "commission for giving stars to sellers' products" but makes it a condition to deposit USDT into the account in order to increase that commission. The notable part of the scheme is the first contact: a person with a used car for sale is approached by someone posing as a foreign buyer who wants to purchase the vehicle, and the chat is then moved to newbritmart.com.

In short: Britmart is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). The deposited USDT is said to raise a "commission level" and withdrawal is promised once the set is complete, but new payments are requested at every stage. Legal routes also exist for money sent in crypto.

🚩 From a Car Advert to a Task Site: How Does the Scheme Work?

  • A "buyer" who does not speak Turkish and appears to be a foreigner writes to the owner of a car advert and, once trust is gained, signs them up to Britmart.
  • On the site the task is to give 5 stars to products; to increase the commission earned and receive a reward, a USDT deposit is requested.
  • Tasks come in sets; withdrawal does not open until the last order of the set is completed, and each time an extra payment is demanded for a different reason.
  • People who write on WhatsApp as "customer representatives" and use different names run the process.

🔍 Findings on newbritmart.com

The domain was registered on 31 May 2026, and the first complaints appeared only a few weeks later; the address does not respond today. The similarly named britmart.com is a parked domain that has been up for sale since 2005, and no connection with this scheme has been seen. The Capital Markets Board has warned the public with its Decision No. 5/173 against unauthorised investment referrals run through social media and messaging applications.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why did a foreign buyer of my car send me to a website?

The advert is only a pretext for making contact. The aim is not the car; it is to persuade the person to join a Britmart account and deposit USDT.

Will withdrawal be possible once a set such as 38/38 is complete?

On sites of this kind the last step of the set is usually arranged as a special order that pushes the balance negative; completing it is the start of a new payment request.

Are Britmart and britmart.com the same place?

No. The address that is the subject of the complaints is newbritmart.com; britmart.com is a domain put up for sale with no content.
