Metro FX (metrofx.ltd) Review: Unlicensed Forex Platform

Euston Tower in London, Exchange Tower in Toronto: according to the FCA record, Metro FX operated at metrofx.ltd and gave two famous office towers as its addresses, creating the impression of a long-established brokerage. In June 2026 the name appeared among the schemes reported by victims in a Turkish-language forex complaint channel.

🚨 Which Regulators Issued Warnings?

On 12 January 2023 the FCA added Metro FX, operating at metrofx.ltd, to its list of unauthorised firms; the next day the warning was also shared by Finanstilsynet, Norway's financial supervisory authority, and entered the international warning network of IOSCO. The tower addresses shown are the kind of prestige addresses that such schemes borrow. No active registration for the domain can be seen today.

🔍 Other Schemes With Metro in Their Name

The Metro Investment scheme we covered earlier, at metroglobalinvestment.com, is a different operation with a similar nameTR; METROPLUS TRADING also runs under a separate domain. No common trace was found between Metro FX and these addresses. No connection has been identified either with any licensed intermediary institution operating in Türkiye that has "Metro" in its name.
