Wilton Capital Limited Scam: Fake FCA Registration Claim

Wilton Capital Limited is a forex, CFD and crypto platform that gives an address in Auckland, New Zealand and claims on its website to be registered with the UK financial authority. The FCA has stated that no such registration exists and has placed the site on its warning list.

In short: Wilton Capital Limited is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Showing a fake regulatory registration to win trust and reopening under a changed domain name are the defining features of this scheme. Legal routes exist for claiming back the money that was sent.

🔍 The Fake Registration Claim and the Domain Change

  • The site states that it is registered with the FCA; the register held within the international network of securities regulators indicates that this claim is untrue.
  • Products offered: derivatives such as forex, CFDs and options, plus crypto assets.
  • Contact address: [email protected].
  • wiltoncapitalltd.com, used with the same name and the same Auckland address, was added to the FCA list in March 2026; the new domain name was registered in June 2026 and was added to the list in July as well.

As of October 2026 the site cannot be reached. This scheme has no connection with similarly named financial companies that genuinely operate in the United Kingdom.

⚖️ SPK Authorisation

Wilton Capital Limited is not authorised by the SPK; anyone can check this on the SPK list of authorised institutions. SPK Board Decision No. 8/297 of 24 February 2017 treats bringing investors together with overseas platforms for leveraged transactions as unauthorised activity as well.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

The site said it was registered with the FCA. Is it still fake?

Yes. The FCA has stated clearly that Wilton Capital Limited holds no permission from it; the registration claim on the site has not been verified.

I invested through wiltoncapitalltd.com. Does this article apply to me?

The two domains use the same name and the same Auckland address; they are treated as the old and new addresses of the same scheme.

Is the New Zealand address real?

The address is given only at the level of city and postcode; naming a distant country as headquarters is a common way of making a scheme harder to trace.
