9M AI (9MX) Scam Warning: USDT Ponzi Scheme

9M AI (also known as 9MX; domains www.9mc.org and www.9mc.ai) is a pyramid scheme that collects USDT (Tether) deposits from users through an app that claims to carry out automated AI-driven trading. Both the UK and Hong Kong regulators have published unauthorised-activity warnings about this operation.
🚩 How the Trap Works
The scheme runs on the story "start the AI task with one tap on your phone and receive a fixed daily income". Users are offered daily return plans that grow as the term gets longer; yet behind the app there is no real investment activity and no product or service that can be sold. Payments are kept going only with money deposited by new participants. This is a classic Ponzi scheme, and it collapses as soon as the inflow of new money slows down.
- Deposits are taken outside the banking system, through irreversible USDT transfers.
- Members are encouraged with commissions to bring in new people, and the slogan "build a team, earn" is pushed to the front.
- Traces in a foreign language have been found in the app's source code, and the operation is assessed as tied to an organised, foreign-based structure.
- The domains were registered recently, with hidden registrant details; the claim of a corporate history does not reflect reality.
🔍 Regulator Warnings and the Türkiye Angle
The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has placed 9M AI on its list of suspicious platforms, and the UK regulator has also published an unauthorised-firm warning. In Türkiye the position is clearer still: 9M AI is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK), and it has no legal entity or official activity here. The in-app earnings that are displayed have no real counterpart; a request for extra payments labelled "tax" or "activation" at the withdrawal stage is the well-known final act of schemes like this.
🛡️ Checks Before Investing
- No structure that promises "guaranteed daily profit" is a genuine investment institution; a promised return is a sufficient warning on its own.
- Before any money is sent, whether the platform appears on the SPK list of authorised institutions can be checked.
- Apps that accept payment only by crypto transfer and recruit members through referrals are a recognised warning sign.
