Aurum Foundation Scam Warning: AI Bot and Wallet Approval Trap

Aurum Foundation is a scheme that presents itself as an autonomous crypto trading infrastructure powered by artificial intelligence and grows its participants through a referral chain. Aurum Foundation is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK); it has no legal entity and no permission to provide investment services in Türkiye. The scheme stopped its payments shortly after its name was placed on the warning lists of the regulators of more than one country.

🤖 The "Profit-Making Bot" Story and What Is Really Being Sold

At the centre of the presentation is an AI trading robot that is said to analyse the market on its own and produce steady gains every month. On the screen shown to the participant the balance rises regularly, but there is no real market trade behind that increase. The real engine of the system is not trading but recruiting new participants: membership tiers, referral bonuses and an annual access fee show clearly where the income comes from.

The profit shown on the screen has no real counterpart. The amounts paid to those who managed to withdraw early are covered by the money deposited by those who joined later.

🔄 A Brand That Changes as Warnings Increase

The most distinctive behaviour of the scheme is that it treats regulatory warnings as a reason to change its name, not to shut down. When its name entered warning lists in more than one country, the same system was repackaged with a new brand and a new token announcement, and participants were moved to the new scheme under the label of an "upgrade". Because this removes the only concrete reference the victim has, the name of the platform, the trail for anyone who wants to research it is also erased.

In the same period a shell company was registered abroad and this registration was announced as a "full licence". Setting up a company is not the same as obtaining an investment services licence. For Türkiye, the only deciding criterion is whether the entity appears on the list of authorised institutions kept by SPK: SPK list of authorised brokerage firms.

🚩 The Wallet Connection Step: The Loss Is Not Limited to the Money You Deposited

This is what sets this case apart from an ordinary promised-return scheme. In the token distribution campaign announced in the final stage, participants were asked to connect their crypto wallet, and the connection screen made them sign not an ordinary login permission but a spending approval that gives the right to withdraw the stablecoin balance in the wallet at any time.

Once this approval is given, the other side can drain the assets without any further confirmation window appearing. In other words, the harm was not limited to the amount deposited on the platform; assets held in the approving person's wallet, which have nothing to do with the platform, were also covered. When the system stopped payments, the explanation used was "we were attacked", a known closing story that places the reason for non-payment on an outside culprit.

🛡️ What to Look At Before Investing

  • Whether the entity's name appears on the SPK list of authorised institutions; if it is not on the list, providing investment services in Türkiye is not legally possible for it.
  • Whether the earnings come from market trading or from bringing in new members. Where a referral bonus and membership tiers exist, the source of income is not trading.
  • The scope of the permission signed on a wallet connection screen is what matters; "login" and "spending authority" are different things.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Does Aurum Foundation have permission to operate in Türkiye?

No. The scheme is not authorised by SPK and has no legal entity established in Türkiye.

It announced a company registration abroad. Does that not count as a licence?

No. Registering a company in a country does not mean obtaining authority to provide investment services there. The only criterion that is valid in Türkiye is SPK authorisation.

How can I recognise the platform if it appears under a new name?

Even when the brand changes, the scheme stays the same: the same earnings tiers, the same referral bonus logic, the same AI robot story and the moving of participants under the label of an "upgrade" are signs of this continuity.

I never deposited any money, I only connected my wallet. Why is this a risk?

The approval signed on the wallet connection screen can give the other side the right to withdraw the balance later and without asking again. For this reason the risk is not limited to the amount transferred to the platform.

The explanation was that the system was hacked. Will my money come back?
