Fortrade Clone Scam Warning: fortradefx.com and fortradelimited.com

The Fortrade name, being a brokerage brand known abroad, has become a cover often used by imitation operations that want to reach investors in Türkiye. Representatives searching for "Fortrade Türkiye" or "Fortrade Yatırım" (Fortrade Investment) collect money through addresses that echo the brand, such as fortradefx.com and fortradelimited.com, and through Telegram chats; while the profit grows on the screen, new payment demands begin at the withdrawal stage.
🎭 The Imitation of the Fortrade Name
Fortrade Ltd, whose title is being used, is a real firm authorised in the United Kingdom and, in the clone cases, is the party whose name is being abused. However, this foreign permit does not give it the authority to offer leveraged trading to investors in Türkiye; for a Turkish investor the only deciding record is the SPK list of authorised firms. This gap lays the ground for Turkish-speaking people posing as "Fortrade representatives" to carry the brand's trust over to their own addresses.
The imitation operations use the real firm's logo and colours, but ask for the money to be sent to personal accounts or crypto wallet addresses. We covered how the method generally works in detail in our article on brokerage and bank clone websites.
🌐 Fortradefx: The fortradefx.com Clone
The name Fortradefx is a variant made by adding the suffix "fx" to the brand; the aim is to give someone interested in forex the impression that the address is the firm's currency trading site. The domain fortradefx.com was registered in February 2026 and was added in March 2026 to the UK financial regulator's warning list as a "clone of an authorised firm". In the clone's registration, the real firm's contact details appear to have been used; so a person carrying out a check can see the real company's address and come to trust the fake site.
As of October 2026 the address shows a "coming soon" page and a contact form opened with a ready-made website builder. Clone addresses held empty in this way are usually kept ready for a new wave: the content can turn into an investment panel within a few days.
🏢 The Fake Fortrade Limited: fortradelimited.com
The second address uses a different imitation technique: it writes the firm's entire company title, together with "Limited", into the domain name. The address thus reads like a line in a company register; a person who searches the title and finds the real company's record believes the verification is complete. Yet the one point not checked is whether the address in hand is the one in that record. This address entered the same regulator's clone warning list on 17 August 2026 and was still live at a check the next day.
- The site presents itself not as a forex intermediary but as an "investment packages" company that profits from crypto price swings.
- It says it is "licensed" and "insured", yet names neither a regulator nor a licence number; it claims the money is "100% safe".
- Contact runs only through the live chat on the site; there is no phone number, e-mail or physical address. Withdrawals are made to an "external wallet".
🚩 Stages of Collecting Money and Blocking Withdrawals
- Contact: A person introduced as a "Fortrade official" approaches by phone, Telegram or social media with a promise of high earnings.
- Investment: The money is directed to personal accounts, a SWIFT transfer or a crypto wallet; a balance that grows quickly is shown on the panel.
- Withdrawal block: In user reports, while a large balance is displayed, extra payments are requested for withdrawal on grounds such as "commission" and "VIP membership", and each time these payments are directed to the accounts of different people.
- Break-off: When the payments end, the representative becomes unreachable, and the site either closes or moves to a new domain name.
Decision No. 8/297 of the Capital Markets Board dated 24.02.2017 classifies bringing investors in Türkiye together with foreign firms for leveraged trading as unauthorised activity.
🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method
Clone operations that carry an authorised firm's title or brand name into a domain are not a single example. We have covered other operations that build the same scheme on different brands.

- A fake wealth management operation set up under the Coutts name
- Trade360: clone sites continuing under the name of a closed platformTR
🧭 The Legal Process for Victims
- The process starts with a criminal investigation; the criminal complaint stage sets the frame of the case.
- An asset investigationTR is carried out through the personal accounts and crypto addresses to which the money was sent.
- For amounts sent abroad by SWIFT, a recall of the transfer and civil claim routes are assessed.
