Al Capital Scam: AI Trading Robot and Loan Fraud

Al Capital is a platform that presents itself as an artificial intelligence-powered stock exchange and forex company through alcapital.ai and my.alcapital.ai, the address of its trading screen. What sets the scheme apart is that it does not stop when the investor's savings run out: at that point the process turns to the investor's capacity to borrow.

🤖 The Artificial Intelligence and Trading Robot Promise
At first contact, Al Capital says it offers an artificial intelligence-based "trading robot" that opens highly profitable trades on its own. The dashboard shows trades opened by the robot and a growing balance; however, there is no trace that this screen is connected to the real market. The aim is to create a perception of gains and get larger amounts deposited.
The site is written entirely in English and declares an address in an island country in the Caribbean, yet all communication is carried out in Turkish. This duality shows that the scheme gives the impression of a global institution while targeting only investors in Türkiye.
🚩 Taking Out Loans: the Source Is Produced from the Investor
The gravest detail repeated in user reports is this: a person styled as an "investment adviser" connects to the investor's bank account through remote access and has a loan taken out, then transfers the amount drawn straight to the trading account.
The classic scheme targets the money a person already has and stops when it runs out. Here, however, the credit limit is turned into an investment source; the loss is also split in two: the amount wiped out in the account and the loan debt left behind.
🔒 Conditions Placed in Front of a Withdrawal Request
Withdrawal requests are not openly refused; each time they are tied to a new condition:
- Saying "the account has gone negative, withdrawal cannot be made while negative".
- Setting a trading volume condition such as "you need to finish your lots".
- The explanation "the money is in the pool, you cannot withdraw because you entered it".
- Demanding an extra payment under the name of "tax" or "commission" before withdrawal.
- Asking again, at every withdrawal request, for the identity and address verification already completed at registration.
The last item is the quietest part of the scheme: verification is presented as a security step, but when it is repeated constantly, each new document request becomes a queue that sends the process back to the start.
🔍 Findings
- Names and addresses: The spellings "Al Capital", "Alcapital" and "Alcapital.ai" circulate together; the trading screen is on the my.alcapital.ai subdomain.
- Domain choice: The ".ai" extension serves to create an impression of technological competence without giving any information about the product.
- Contact: the e-mail [email protected], a US-format number +1 888 294 49 24, and "investment/finance advisers" working over Telegram and phone.
- Trading environment: The adviser opens the positions; some reports say trades were carried out on a demo account, and others that the transfer was routed through a crypto exchange.
- Timeline: First warnings in February 2026, and a second wave between July and September 2026 involving loan-taking and repeated verification.
⚖️ SPK Authorisation and the Place of Identity Verification
Al Capital is not authorised by SPK for capital markets activity in Türkiye; it has no entry in the SPK list of authorised intermediary institutions.
Article 3 of Law No. 5549 on the Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime places on obliged parties the duty of identification before a transaction is carried out. Verification completed once when money comes in being requested again and again when it goes out turns the direction of the rule upside down.
🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method
We have seen this arrangement of postponing withdrawal indefinitely through volume conditions and renewed verification requests on other platforms as well, and covered them in separate articles.
- Ceportföy: withdrawal locked by putting forward a lot conditionTR
- Weby Markets: stalling through repeated document and verification requestsTR
- Global Apex Markets: an extra payment demanded before withdrawalTR
- ViaInvest: an adviser-managed account wiped to zeroTR
- The scheme in which a trading volume condition becomes a withdrawal barrierTR
🧭 The Legal Process for Victims
- The channel through which the payments were made is established; the routes for a refund from overseas-based schemes are determined accordingly.
- For amounts held without a legal basis, a restitution and unjust enrichment claimTR comes into play.
- For schemes run through information systems, the qualified fraud provisionsTR are assessed.
- The whole process is described in the article on the path forex victims follow.
