Atlas Capital Trades Scam Warning: Fake FCA Registration

Atlas Capital Trades is an operation at atlascapitaltrades.com that offers forex and CFD investment and states on its site that it is registered with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The FCA found that no such registration exists and added the operation to its list of unauthorised firms in February 2026; the entry updated in March 2026 also contains a second web address. Reports from Türkiye mostly concern accounts that showed small profits at first and were then locked at the withdrawal stage.

In short: Atlas Capital Trades is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK), and its claim of an FCA registration is false. The method is to build a corporate image with an invented regulatory registration and a Dubai address, and then to steer the investor towards additional payments. Tracing money sent to this operation and claiming it back is legally possible.

🔍 Domains and Contact Details

  • Main site: atlascapitaltrades.com
  • Second address: proinvesttrade.live (a page with an index-2.html path)
  • Support email: a "support" address tied to the main domain
  • Declared address: Westbury Tower 1, Marasi Drive Street, Business Bay, Dubai (Box 283730)
  • Phone numbers: a US-coded +1 412 346 82 96 in the FCA entry; UK-coded +44 7417 441110 and +44 7549 013771 in earlier reports

The Dubai address belongs to a business tower where many companies rent offices. As the FCA notes itself, unauthorised operations often use the address and contact details of another business; the existence of an address therefore does not mean the operation actually works from there. Contact details spread across the UK, the US and Dubai are the typical picture of an operation with no single centre that changes numbers and addresses often.

⚖️ The FCA Warning and the Invented FCA Registration

The FCA added Atlas Capital Trades to its list of unauthorised firms on 16 February 2026; the next day the warning was also entered into the joint warning network of international securities regulators (IOSCO I-SCAN). According to the entry, the operation states on its website that it is registered with the FCA, although no such registration exists. Under UK law, giving the impression of being authorised without authorisation is a separate prohibited act. The FCA entry was updated on 12 March 2026 and in its current form covers two web addresses.

For Türkiye the picture is clear: Atlas Capital Trades is not authorised in Türkiye by SPK and cannot offer leveraged trading services to persons resident in Türkiye. Using the name of a foreign regulator, or even showing a real licence, does not replace authorisation to operate in Türkiye; authorised institutions can be seen on the SPK list of intermediary institutions. We have also explained how an SPK licence check is madeTR separately.

🪞 The proinvesttrade.live Mirror Page

The proinvesttrade.live address, added to the FCA entry later, is tied to the same operation even though it carries a different brand name. That the address leads to a template page such as "index-2.html" instead of the root directory points to a ready-made broker site template being copied across several domains. The choice of a cheap, short-lived ".live" extension also serves to keep the same content online at a new address once the main domain enters warning lists.

For this reason, when the name "Atlas Capital Trades" weakens in search results, the investor may be shown the same panel under a different name and address. Comparing the link the investor was given with the addresses listed here makes it easier to see whether the same operation is involved even when the name changes.

🚩 The Investment Scheme and the Withdrawal Block

  • Corporate front: An FCA registration claim, a Dubai business tower address and UK-coded phone numbers give the look of an international brokerage.
  • Promised returns: A first deposit is taken on the promise of high returns in a short time, and small profits are shown on the panel to build trust.
  • Growing deposits: As profits appear, pressure from the representative grows for larger amounts to be deposited.
  • Withdrawal block: When a withdrawal request arrives, replies are delayed, the request is put off, or the account is locked.
  • Extra payment demand: A new payment is set as a condition for releasing the money; even if it is paid, the withdrawal does not happen.

🏷️ The Confusion Created by the Name "Atlas"

The name "Atlas" is used by many genuine companies in the finance sector. Atlas Capital Trades appears to have chosen its name to recall well-known brands such as "Atlas Capital Management" or "AtlasFunded"; these real companies have no connection with the operation, and an investor who sees a similar name may think they are dealing with a known institution. This tactic is common among clone sites that recall an institution's name.

A similar confusion also arises with the online community called "Atlas Trading", against which the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) brought a case in December 2022 over alleged stock price manipulation (pump-and-dump) on social media. No verified link exists between Atlas Capital Trades and that community or the people named in that case; the two should not be confused because of the similarity of names.

🗓️ Timeline

  • February 2026: The FCA added the operation running through atlascapitaltrades.com to its list of unauthorised firms; the warning was entered into the IOSCO network.
  • March 2026: The FCA entry was updated; the proinvesttrade.live address and a US-coded phone number were added. In the same month, reports of withdrawal blocks from Türkiye became visible.
  • Later period: The changing of contact details between different country codes shows that the operation may continue under new domains.

🛡️ Checks Before Investing

  • Whether a platform holds SPK authorisation in Türkiye can be checked from the official list.
  • A foreign licence number shown on a site can be verified in the relevant regulator's own register; for the FCA, this register is open to the public. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).
  • When the domain was registered, and whether copies exist under different extensions, can be researched before investing.

🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method

Operations that put a non-existent FCA or other regulatory registration in the shop front keep appearing one by one. We have covered other platforms showing the same scheme before:

🧭 The Legal Process for Victims

  1. Recording the event: Together with domain names, correspondence and payment receipts, the criminal complaint process is started.
  2. Recalling transfers: For transfers sent abroad, the possibility of a recall of the SWIFT transfer is assessed.
  3. The trail of the money and account holders: For the accounts the money reached, an asset investigationTR is carried out.
  4. Refund routes: The options are summarised in the article on a refund from a foreign forex firm.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

The Atlas Capital Trades site says it has an FCA registration. Is this true?

No. The FCA added the operation to its list of unauthorised firms on 16 February 2026, stating that it declared on its site that it was registered but that no such registration exists.

Is the proinvesttrade.live address the same operation as Atlas Capital Trades?

The current FCA entry shows both addresses under the same operation. Carrying a different brand name does not rule out the same panel being offered from a new address.

Is the Dubai address a real office?

The address belongs to a business tower where many companies are based. Because unauthorised operations can also use addresses belonging to other businesses, an address alone is not proof of actual activity.

Does Atlas Capital Trades have any link to the SEC case?

No verified link exists between the social media community called "Atlas Trading", against which the SEC brought a case in 2022, and Atlas Capital Trades; the similarity comes from the name.

I am being asked for a new payment to withdraw. Is this normal?

Demanding a payment in advance to release earnings is the most common extra payment pattern in schemes of this kind. Correspondence about such demands may later serve as evidence.
