Bain Capital Name Misused: BCP Delüx WhatsApp Share Scam

BCP Delüx is the mobile app arm of a stock fraud run under the name of Bain Capital, an international asset management brand. The scheme is a closed loop: it starts with an Instagram ad, moves the person into a WhatsApp group, and from there into the app.
When this article was first published, the abbreviation "BCP" was not spelled out and the letters were only taken to suggest some institution. Later reports made the meaning clear: Bain Capital. The current findings are set out below.

🧩 What "BCP" Stands For: Bain Capital
The three-letter prefix in the app name is used explicitly as Bain Capital in the reports. The scheme presents itself in turn as "Bain Capital Türkiye", "Bain Kapital Grup", "Bain Capital LLC" and even under a Turkish-style company name, "Bain Capital Global Yapay Zeka Teknolojileri Sanayi ve Ticaret" (Bain Capital Global Artificial Intelligence Technologies Industry and Trade).
This variety of company names is a finding in itself: the name of a real organisation stays fixed. Here the same scheme uses names that change depending on the person approached, and none of them can be verified in the trade registry. The international organisation whose name is used has no connection with this scheme; it is also the party whose identity is being used without permission.
The purpose of the "Delüx" suffix is as we noted in our first review: the suffix carries a feeling of familiarity, and a new name can be produced by swapping the prefix. Now that the meaning of the abbreviation has emerged, it also confirms how the pattern is built: the prefix is borrowed from a well-known institution, and the suffix from the association with luxury.
🔁 The Earlier Name: BAM Delüx
User reports say the app was previously distributed under the name BAM Delüx. We reviewed the scheme run under that name in a separate article, Balyans Management and BAM DelüxTR; there too, the move from a WhatsApp group to the app and the demand for extra payment at the withdrawal stage followed the same order.
The name change confirms the pattern described above: the "Delüx" suffix stays fixed, while the prefix changes according to the institution whose name is being used at the time. The BAM prefix also brings to mind the abbreviation of a well-known asset management company. The way the app works, the group set-up and the demands at the withdrawal stage are the same under both names; only the shop front changes.
📲 The Funnel from Instagram Ad to App
- The ad: An Instagram ad titled "free stock market training" is shown. The emphasis on training lowers the person's guard; at this point information is offered, not yet money.
- The group: The link in the ad leads straight to a WhatsApp group. The person who joins takes it for a training group.
- The steering: In the group, people described as "managers" and "secretaries" share intraday and block-trade tips.
- The app: The person is steered to download an app called BCP Delüx and to open the account through it.
- The payment: Transfers are made by bank transfer/EFT to IBANs that are provided, not to any corporate identity of the app.
Having the app downloaded from a mobile app store gives the person an impression that it has been "checked". Being listed in a store does not show that the operation behind it is authorised to provide investment services.
🔤 WhatsApp Groups with Letter-and-Number Codes
The group names that appear in the reports look random one by one; placed side by side, they point to a production line:
- c-66 Hisse Senedi Strateji Paylaşım Merkezi (c-66 Stock Strategy Sharing Centre), under the name "Bain Capital Türkiye"
- a-63 boğa hisseler grubu (a-63 bull stocks group)
- d33 hisse senedi rehberi (d33 stock guide)
We saw the same letter-and-number pattern in the schemes F-78 Servet Kaynakları (F-78 Wealth Sources) and L5 Akıllı Yatırım Elit Kulübü (L5 Smart Investment Elite Club), which we reviewed separately on our site. The coding shows that the groups are opened and closed in series: when one group is exposed it is shut down, and a new one is opened with the next letter-and-number combination.
🎭 The So-Called Professor and the So-Called Assistant
| Role | Name used | Function |
|---|---|---|
| So-called professor | Sinan Özman | The authority figure of the group; gives the "smart buy" signals and block-trade instructions. |
| So-called assistant | Sena Çetinsoy | Day-to-day contact as the "secretary"; app installation, account opening and payment steering. |
An important link: The same assistant name also appeared in the L5 Akıllı Yatırım Elit Kulübü scheme, which we reviewed separately on our site. This is a concrete overlap suggesting that the two brands are run by the same team. It is unclear whether the names belong to real identities; in these schemes the representatives work under assumed names.
📊 The "Smart Earnings Plan": A Tiered Membership Table
The promotional image circulated in the groups sets out the scheme's claims in its own words. The image carries the logo of the organisation whose name is used and presents a membership system with six tiers:

Looking at how the table is built, three things stand out:
- A return commitment: A "daily return" range is given for each tier, and a three-digit total return target is announced for the plan. In the capital markets, a return cannot be promised; this statement alone is a decisive warning sign.
- Climbing upward: The tiers are designed to promise a higher return and a lower "service fee" as the amount paid in grows. The aim is to move the person up to the next tier.
- The service fee lock: The text states that a service fee will be paid, depending on the member's level, once the target is reached. This is the contractual cover for the extra payment demand met at the withdrawal stage; the condition is presented as if it had been set from the start.
📈 The Fake Past-Returns Table
The second image is the "past performance" table shared in the group to build trust. Real stock codes traded on Borsa Istanbul are listed date by date, and next to each one a profit rate is written with a label such as "smart buy trade" or "block trade".

The use of real stock codes is deliberate: the person recognises the codes, and because they are familiar, takes the table to be genuine. Yet the table contains only winning trades; there is not a single losing line. No record showing that these trades were actually carried out, such as an order history, an account statement or a confirmation from a brokerage firm, is presented.
🚫 The Withdrawal Stage and Identity Data
Once the balance has grown on the panel and a withdrawal request is made, items that were not disclosed at account opening come into play. The grounds that recur in the reports are these:
- A payment demand under the name of a tax debt
- A service fee, based on the tiered rate in the promotional image
- A statement that no withdrawal can be made without further investment
- If the person persists, the account is blocked or deleted
There is a further risk: at account opening, personal data including Turkish ID details is collected under the name of identity verification. Handing identity documents to an operation with no verifiable legal entity or address has consequences beyond the loss of money.
💸 Trust Built with Small Withdrawals and the "Share Allocation" Story
New reports received in summer 2026 show that the withdrawal stage works in steps. In the first stage, part of the amount paid in is allowed to be withdrawn; once the person is convinced that the system really pays out, larger amounts are paid in. The locked portion then becomes the subject of the final and largest demand.
- Partial withdrawals allowed: Part of the money paid in is returned to build trust; these payments do not show that the scheme is reliable, they prepare the ground for the next large investment.
- Separate channels in and out: Deposits are sent to accounts held in the names of one set of companies, while withdrawal payments come from entirely different names. Running money in and out through different front accounts is aimed at making the trail harder to follow.
- "Shares have been allocated in your name": Group managers announce that shares have been set aside in the person's name and make a substantial extra investment a condition for completing the trade; the person is told that the existing balance will also be lost if no payment is made.
- Fake intraday and block-trade displays: While the pressure for extra payment continues, intraday and block-trade movements with no real counterpart are shown in the app.
- Removal from the group and blocking: When it becomes clear that the person has turned to legal channels, they are removed from the WhatsApp group and blocked, and their access to the app is cut off.

📉 SPK and Authorisation Status
The service offered under the name BCP Delüx and this scheme acting under the Bain Capital name are not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). In Türkiye, intermediation in share trading, portfolio management and investment advice may be carried out only by institutions holding an authorisation from the SPK; when an unauthorised operation steers positions on behalf of investors, this is unauthorised capital markets activity. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).
When a well-known institution's name appears, the verification is to check its authorisation record on the SPK list of brokerage firms; we explain the method in our article on SPK licence lookup and institution verificationTR.
🔗 Other Schemes from the Same Production Line
A group name made of letters and numbers, a "professor–assistant" pair, a borrowed well-known institution name and a move into the scheme's own app: these four elements recur together. We have covered the same pattern in the following schemes:
- L5 Akıllı Yatırım Elit Kulübü WhatsApp Group ScamTR — the same assistant name
- F-78 Servet Kaynakları and Strategy CentreTR — the same group name pattern
- BA Servet Yönetim PlanıTR — a tiered membership and returns table
- JPMorgan CEEMEA — use of a well-known institution's name
- Balyasny Asset Management
🧭 The Legal Process After a Loss
The removal of the app or the deletion of the account does not close the case. What matters is which account the payment went to; when transfers are made through the banking system, the receiving party is on record.
- The general framework of the process: The path followed by investment fraud victims
- Identifying the other side: Asset research in investment fraudTR
- Routes to recovery: Methods and legal routes for getting money back
Obtaining a benefit by using information systems and banking tools while hiding behind the identity of a well-known institution may be assessed as qualified fraud under the Turkish Penal Code, as unauthorised activity under capital markets legislation, and, for the collection of identity data, under the rules on personal data.
