Cryptime Scam Warning: Fake IMF-Style Domain, FCA Listed

Cryptime is a crypto and CFD trading site that operates not on its own domain but on a subdomain (coincryptime) of an address called "imfsupportservice.org". The site opens under the name "Coin Cryptime" and looks like a real exchange, with a Bitcoin price feed and copy-trading and automated-trading menus. On 20 July 2026 the FCA added Cryptime to its list of unauthorised firms.
🌐 What the "imfsupportservice" Address Means
The phrase "IMF support service" in the domain name recalls the abbreviation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF); the IMF has no connection with this site. Anyone visiting the root address imfsupportservice.org is redirected straight to the Google home page; the platform opens only from the subdomain. This set-up looks empty to anyone checking the root address, while showing the trading panel to a user who knows the link.
- Root domain: imfsupportservice.org — registered on 19 March 2025 through Global Domain Group, last modified on 12 August 2026
- Platform address: coincryptime.imfsupportservice.org
- Email: [email protected]
- Address in the FCA entry: 1 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London
🖥️ What Is on the Coin Cryptime Site?
On the contact page the phone box is left empty, while the address section lists "global offices" stretching from Great Neck in New York to Tokyo. The same text and design appear word for word on dozens of CFD sites that have entered the FCA list. The claim of high-value insurance for client funds is written without naming any insurance company.
Cryptime is not authorised by the SPK and does not appear on the SPK list of authorised institutions. Unauthorised capital markets activity is regulated under Article 109 of Law No. 6362, and fraud committed through information systems under Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Penal Code (TCK).
