Harper & Radford Partners Scam Warning: Fees to Withdraw

Choosing a classic name made of a surname and the word "Partners" to give the impression of a prestigious investment advisory partnership, Harper & Radford Partners claims to offer investors private portfolio management and privileged earning opportunities in currency/forex trading. The air of an established financial institution has been built deliberately to make the first contact look trustworthy.

🚩 How the Scheme Operates

Victims are usually approached by telephone, e-mail or online adverts. Phrases such as "a private fund open to a limited number of investors" or "returns reserved for corporate clients" create a sense of urgency and exclusivity. After the first investment, profits are shown growing on the screen; but when a withdrawal is requested, extra amounts are demanded under names such as "eligibility fee", "legal deduction" or "advance payment".

📉 Licence and Supervision

Harper & Radford Partners is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and has no permit to carry out capital markets activity in Türkiye. It has been flagged as an unauthorised firm by an international regulator; however, claims of a foreign registration do not offer legal protection to an investor in Türkiye. Whether an entity is authorised in Türkiye can be confirmed from the official SPK list: SPK list of authorised intermediary institutions. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).

🛡️ Checks Before Investing

  • Whether the named entity appears on the SPK list of authorised intermediary institutions can be verified.
  • The consistency of the title, website and contact details offered by the person who made contact can be questioned.
  • Expressions such as "guaranteed", "risk-free" and "special invitation" do not belong in legitimate investment.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Is Harper & Radford Partners a reliable investment firm?

It is not among the authorised intermediary institutions in Türkiye and no activity subject to official supervision has been identified. The name containing "Partners" has been used to create a corporate impression.

Why is an extra payment requested when I try to withdraw?

Requests for "tax", "commission" or "advance payment" at the withdrawal stage are a typical method aimed at collecting more money. Even when these payments are made, the amount is not released.

They say they have a foreign licence; is that enough?

The only criterion that counts for activity in Türkiye is SPK authorisation. A claim of a foreign registration does not amount to protection for an investor in Türkiye.
