Sanpupu Task Scam: Paying Deposits to Unlock Levels

Sanpupu is a website that gathers users through sponsored "complete tasks, earn money" adverts on Instagram. Tasks only open while there is a balance in the account; the balance is topped up by sending money to an individual's bank account, and every round asks for a larger amount.

In short: Sanpupu is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). It is a task-and-earn scheme that raises "levels" as more money is paid in. After a small first commission is paid out and trust is built, the balance requirement is enlarged under the name of a "promotion". Claiming the money back is legally possible in cases of this kind.

🚩 From Advert to Telegram Group: How Does Sanpupu Work?

A person who clicks the advert first chats with a representative on WhatsApp, is then passed through a link to someone else on Telegram, and from there into a crowded group. In the group, "payment receipts" with personal details hidden are shared to create the impression that everyone is earning.

  • A balance is required before any task; the money is sent by FAST (Türkiye's instant bank transfer system) to an individual's account
  • Tasks are handed out under the name of "order confirmation"
  • A small commission is in fact paid out in the first round
  • With each new deposit the "level is raised" and the promised earnings are multiplied
  • A "promotion" is credited to the account and continuing the task is tied to a higher balance

🔍 What Has Been Established

The scheme appears to have been active through Instagram adverts since the end of April 2026. Payments are collected in individual accounts instead of a corporate account, and contact passes back and forth between WhatsApp and Telegram. To avoid detection the site does not use a fixed domain name; the link is shared only through adverts and messages.

⚖️ Why Is It Treated as Investment Fraud?

Here the person does not receive a fee in return for work; money is loaded into the account in the expectation that it will grow, and the balance shown cannot be withdrawn. Sanpupu is not authorised by the SPK. A scheme run through social media and messaging apps like this is assessed as qualified fraud committed through computer systems under Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Penal Code.

🔗 Other Sites Using the Same Method

Task sites that sell levels in return for balance top-ups often change their names. We have previously examined other examples of the same pattern.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Sanpupu paid the first commission. Is it still a scam?

Yes. The small first payment is a trust-building tool used to obtain larger deposits; the main sums are collected at later levels.

Why can the "promotion" credited to the account not be withdrawn?

A promotion is not real money; it is shown on screen to justify a higher balance requirement for the task to continue.

What does it mean that the money is sent to an individual's account?

Intermediary accounts are used to hide the trail of the collected money; these accounts can be traced in the legal process.
