Seven Capitals Scam Warning: Dubai-Based Forex and CFD Brand

Seven Capitals is a forex brand that says it is based in Dubai and offers leveraged trading on currencies, gold and indices through MetaTrader 5. The image of a prestigious office in the Gulf and the stress on an "international licence" are put forward to inspire confidence in users reaching it from Türkiye.
🔍 What Do the Records Say About Seven Capitals?
- Company: Seven Capitals Limited is registered as a Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) company.
- Foreign licence: The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) licence is dated February 2023; this foreign licence is not valid for investment services in Türkiye.
- Platform: MetaTrader 5; the brand had highlighted its client base in the Middle East and its office in the Burj Khalifa in its promotion.
- Domain: sevencapitals.com was registered in October 2019; at the time of review the site was not responding.
⚠️ Where Is the Risk for a User in Türkiye?
The brand has no legal entity in Türkiye and no entry in the SPK list of authorised institutions. In the event of a loss on a leveraged account or a withdrawal dispute, the counterparty is abroad; contracts also usually give jurisdiction to a foreign court. The Capital Markets Board's Decision No. 8/297 of 24.02.2017 treats activities that direct people in Türkiye to unauthorised firms for leveraged trading as unauthorised activity.
The names and logos of such brands may also be used by independent "account managers" over the phone and WhatsApp; confirming from the domain name whether one is corresponding with the real institution is therefore important.
🔗 Other Platforms Operating with a Dubai Address
We have previously covered operations that use a Gulf address and the DFSA name as a trust signal in these articles:
- Amana: an emphasis on multiple foreign licences including the DFSATR
- Vlado: a brand the DFSA announced as unlicensedTR
- QMMFX: an unauthorised platform claiming a Gulf connectionTR
- NRD Global: a forex operation with a Dubai addressTR
🧭 How Does the Legal Process Work?
- The route of the money sent and the receiving accounts are identified, and refund routes from an overseas forex firm are assessed.
- The foreign jurisdiction and arbitration clause in the contract is examined under Turkish law.
- Where unauthorised intermediation and deception are present, a criminal process under the provisions on qualified fraudTR comes into play.
