Bydfiaz Scam: Fake Crypto Exchange Copying a Known Name

Bydfiaz is a website opened under a name very close to a well-known crypto exchange, collecting money from users for crypto trading. The financial regulator of the Canadian province of Québec, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), has published an investor warning about bydfiaz.com.

In short: Bydfiaz is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and has no permission to operate as a crypto asset service provider in Türkiye. The scheme builds trust with a domain that recalls a recognised exchange name. Claiming the transferred money back is legally possible.

No. The name Bydfiaz was formed by adding "az" to the name of the international crypto exchange BYDFi. The official domain of BYDFi is bydfi.com, and no connection with bydfiaz.com has been identified. bydfiaz.com was registered in October 2025 and is currently unreachable; schemes of this kind change domain names frequently to avoid detection.

🚩 How Does the Fake Exchange Scheme Work?

  • The user is directed to the site through social media or a messaging app with an offer of "profitable trading".
  • The USDT or other crypto deposited is shown as a balance that grows quickly on the dashboard.
  • At the withdrawal stage, a new payment is demanded under names such as "tax", "unfreezing fee" or "security deposit".

These steps are the common thread in cases of being unable to withdraw money from a fake crypto exchangeTR.
