CapitalZone Scam Warning: Fake Licences, Crypto-Only Deposits

CapitalZone (Capital Zone FX) is a forex fraud platform that is claimed to be registered in Hong Kong, although its registration has been deregistered, and that operates with fake FCA, IFSC and FSC licences. By accepting deposits only in cryptocurrency, the firm closes off the chargeback (payment reversal) route and collects money from victims systematically. CapitalZone is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

📉 CapitalZone Reliability Assessment

CapitalZone is regarded as a highly untrustworthy platform. The firm claims to hold FCA (United Kingdom), IFSC (Belize) and FSC (Mauritius) licences, but none of these claims could be verified: CapitalZone does not appear in the records of the regulators concerned.

Its company registration in Hong Kong is also deregistered. The current list of SPK-licensed brokerage houses is available here.

🚩 How CapitalZone's Scheme Works

CapitalZone's methods are designed to deliberately prevent victims from getting their money back:

  • Deposits only in cryptocurrency: No payment is accepted other than Bitcoin and Tether (USDT). This method closes off the credit card chargeback or bank refund route entirely.
  • False regulatory licence claims: Although it claims to hold FCA, IFSC and FSC licences, the firm does not appear in the records of these bodies.
  • High minimum deposit: With a minimum deposit requirement of 1,000 USD, large sums are taken from victims at the outset.
  • Bonus trap: Bonuses offered to investors are tied to hidden conditions and are used to block withdrawals.
  • Cutting off contact: Once enough money has been collected, customer service stops replying and withdrawal requests are refused outright.

🛡️ Protection Guide Against CapitalZone

  • Whether a firm appears on the SPK list of licensed institutions can be checked before investing.
  • Platforms that accept deposits only in cryptocurrency warrant deep distrust, because this method is used to deliberately close off the refund route.
  • Brokers that do not offer industry-standard platforms such as MT4 or MT5 call for suspicion.
  • Each regulatory licence claimed by a firm can be verified on the official website of the body concerned.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why does CapitalZone accept deposits only in cryptocurrency?

Cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed and are very hard to trace. With credit card or bank transfer payments a chargeback (payment reversal) can be started, but this is not possible with crypto transfers. That is why fraudulent platforms prefer crypto-only payment.

Does CapitalZone have an FCA licence?

No. CapitalZone claims to hold a licence from the FCA (UK Financial Conduct Authority), but no such firm appears in the FCA records. Its IFSC (Belize) and FSC (Mauritius) licence claims likewise could not be verified.

Is a firm registered in Hong Kong not trustworthy?

CapitalZone's Hong Kong company registration is deregistered. The lack of even an active company registration means the firm has no legal existence. A firm's reliability is confirmed by an active regulatory licence.

What is the bonus trap?

Fraudulent platforms add a "bonus" to the deposited money and then say the bonus requires a certain trading volume. When a withdrawal is requested, it is blocked with the excuse that "the bonus conditions have not been met". The real aim is to keep the investor's money on the platform.

I was a victim of CapitalZone. Can I get my money back?

Recovering crypto transfers is much harder than recovering bank transfers, but it is not impossible. The records usually relevant include all crypto transfer records, wallet addresses, screenshots and correspondence.
