Excentral Scam Warning: Israel-Run Network, CySEC Licence Cancelled

Excentral is a forex broker network that is registered in Cyprus but managed mainly from Israel, and it systematically defrauds clients. Although its licence has been cancelled by CySEC, the platform is said to keep operating from hidden offices in Bucharest as well, deceiving clients with fake personal advisers. Excentral is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

🚩 Scam Methods

  • Fake personal advisers: Excentral tells clients that a "dedicated adviser" has been assigned to them, but these advisers are in fact high-pressure sales representatives. Their only purpose is to push clients into large deposits.
  • Account reset: Clients first see small gains; when the advisers push them to open larger positions, the account is suddenly reset and all the investment disappears.
  • Limassol office number: The company gave an office number in Limassol, yet no real business exists at that address. This becomes clear when clients try to reach the company physically.
  • Israeli management: Excentral's top management is in Tel Aviv and the whole profit centre is in Israel. Client support is provided only through online channels, while the real decision-making body is kept persistently hidden.
  • Hidden operation in Bucharest: Clone companies registered in Bucharest continue to provide Excentral services, but there is no legal representation.

🔍 What Has Been Established

  • CySEC licence cancelled: The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission has formally cancelled Excentral's licence. This means the company has no legal status in the EU.
  • Operation centred in Israel: The company's first offices were set up in Tel Aviv, and all senior executives are known to be Israeli. This indicates that the real centre of control is Israel, not Cyprus.
  • Limassol address not valid: The Limassol office address given by Excentral does not appear in Cypriot business records, and no commercial activity was seen during physical visits.
  • Client complaints: Clients from many countries have reported that their accounts were reset and their withdrawal requests refused.
  • Clone operations in Bucharest: Companies registered in Bucharest under the Excentral name apply the same scam tactics.

🛡️ Protection Guide

  • Personal adviser services: When a broker says it has assigned a "dedicated adviser" and that adviser pushes for more deposits, this is a warning sign. Legitimate brokers do not give their advisers the power to force clients to increase their investment.
  • Checking the Limassol address: If a broker claims to have an office in Limassol, searching for the address on Google Maps shows whether it is really a business centre. An empty building or a mere registered address points to a scam.
  • Investing without a CySEC licence: Licences can be checked on the official CySEC website. Excentral and similar companies claiming Cypriot registration do not appear on that list.
  • Account reset warnings: If an account is suddenly reset while the client is trying to grow the money, a large loss has almost certainly occurred. The investment is best exited at once.
  • Israel-based operations: Brokers whose management centre is in Israel (especially Tel Aviv) and who claim a Cypriot licence are a red flag. This combination is a sign of fraud.
  • Visiting the physical office: Where possible, the broker's office is visited in person before investing, so that the real team can be seen.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

My Excentral advisers were very good and made me money. Why is this called fraud?

The platform wins the client's trust by showing small gains at the start. But when the client makes larger deposits, the account is suddenly reset. The tactic is to make the client attached to the first gains and then cause a large loss.

Since Excentral operated in Israel, can I claim repayment under Israeli law?

Israel can take action against offices worldwide in money fraud investigations. However, such proceedings can be long and costly. Starting in Türkiye through Savun Law & Consultancy and then moving on to international legal steps is the more practical route.

Can I keep my Excentral account open and withdraw money later?

No. After Excentral's licence was cancelled, accounts can be closed at any time and the remaining balance ignored. Where an account holds money, withdrawal requests are in most cases rejected.
