Finmarket Scam Warning: CySEC Suspicious Clone, Linked Brands

Finmarket is part of a wider scam network that CySEC (the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission) lists as a "Suspicious Clone" and that operates in coordination with other fraudulent platforms such as Zurich Prime, Yesoption, EU-Capital, 10Trading and Marketrading.co. Former employees of the company have confirmed that client money was systematically manipulated and stolen. Finmarket is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

🚩 Scam Methods

  • Manipulation of client money: Former Finmarket employees have confirmed that money was systematically taken from client accounts and that withdrawal requests were deliberately refused.
  • Operation under several brands: Finmarket works in coordination with Zurich Prime, Yesoption, EU-Capital, 10Trading and Marketrading.co. When a problem arises with one brand, the client meets the same scam under another brand name.
  • No office at the registered address: No real business activity exists at the registered address Finmarket gives. This suggests the company knowingly supplied a false address.
  • Account reset: Clients first see small gains, but their accounts are then manipulated and wiped to zero.
  • Withdrawal refusal tactic: Withdrawal requests are rejected without any explanation.

🔍 What Has Been Established

  • CySEC "Suspicious Clone" classification: CySEC has listed Finmarket as a "Suspicious Clone" on its official list. This means the company imitates a legitimate broker regulated by CySEC.
  • Several brands in one scam network: Finmarket has been found to be linked to the following platforms:
    • Zurich Prime
    • Yesoption
    • EU-Capital
    • 10Trading
    • Marketrading.co
  • Former employee statements: Former Finmarket employees have stated openly that client money was manipulated and stolen. These statements indicate that the fraud was systematic.
  • Invalid registered address: When the registered address Finmarket gives in Cyprus was visited in person, no company activity was found.
  • Client complaints: Many clients have reported losses from Finmarket and its linked platforms.
  • Coordinated fraud: When Finmarket was shut down, clients were moved to another brand (for example Zurich Prime) using the same accounts and transactions.

🛡️ Protection Guide

  • The CySEC "Suspicious Clone" list: Finmarket and its linked platforms (Zurich Prime, Yesoption, EU-Capital, 10Trading, Marketrading.co) can be found in the "Suspicious Clones" section of the official CySEC website. These platforms are best avoided entirely.
  • Verifying the registered address: When a broker gives an address in Cyprus, that address can be checked on Google Maps and in Cypriot company records. Finmarket and similar clones do not have a real office at such addresses.
  • Recognising multi-brand operations: If a broker closes and the client is moved to another brand or redirected to other platforms, this is a sign of a coordinated scam network.
  • Former employee statements: Complaints from former Finmarket employees exist, and looking into them gives more information about the platform.
  • Other brands in the network: Finmarket is associated with Zurich Prime, Yesoption, EU-Capital, 10Trading and Marketrading.co. None of these platforms is safe.
  • Regulator check at CySEC: Any broker can be looked up on the official CySEC website. Finmarket and the other brands in its network appear in the Suspicious Clones section.

Where harm has been suffered from Finmarket or its linked platforms (Zurich Prime, Yesoption and others), the transaction records, evidence that money was taken and the CySEC Suspicious Clones listing are the documents usually brought together. ❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Finmarket continued under Zurich Prime after it was shut down?

When Finmarket was shut down, no explanation was given about the client database or what happened to the money. Former employees have confirmed that the clients of the closed Finmarket were transferred to Zurich Prime. This is an indicator of a coordinated scam network.

What does the CySEC "Suspicious Clone" label mean and why does it matter?

A "Suspicious Clone" is CySEC's official classification for a company that imitates a legitimate broker. It means the company was set up with the aim of deceiving people. Finmarket, Zurich Prime and other brands carry this classification.

What did former Finmarket employees say and how can this help?

Former employees have confirmed that client money was systematically stolen and that withdrawal requests were deliberately refused. Such statements can be used as evidence in court. Proving that the fraud was systematic strengthens a claim for repayment.
