Privacy Notice
This notice is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform you about the personal data processed through savun.av.tr, including its English section, and through the contact channels offered on the site.

2. What personal data we process
- Identity: first and last name; a nickname in the Q&A section.
- Contact: phone number, e-mail address, city or country of residence.
- Request and case information: the descriptions and questions you send us and the documents you share (such as payment receipts, correspondence or screenshots). These documents may include bank, amount and transaction details.
- Security: IP address, browser and device information, time of the request, results of security checks.
- Site usage: statistical data collected through cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
We do not ask for special categories of personal data (such as health data or criminal convictions). If you choose to share such information, it is processed only for the legal assessment of your request and within the conditions of Article 6 KVKK.
3. Purposes of processing
- assessing your enquiry or question and getting back to you;
- entering into and performing an attorney engagement;
- answering your question in the Q&A section and publishing it under your nickname;
- keeping the site and its contact channels secure and preventing misuse;
- complying with legal obligations and responding to competent authorities;
- producing statistics on how the site is used.
4. Legal grounds and method of collection
Personal data is collected through the contact form, the "Avukata Sor" pre-consultation assistant, the Q&A form, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp, and partly by automated means through cookies. It is processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) KVKK: the data is directly related to entering into or performing a contract (c); processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations (ç); processing is necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right (e); and our legitimate interests, provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed (f). Publication of your question on the site is based on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Transfers
Personal data may be disclosed to competent public authorities and courts upon request, and to service providers we use to run our services. The site's server is located in Türkiye. The service providers we use outside Türkiye are: security and content delivery (Cloudflare); site statistics, maps and web fonts (Google); an artificial intelligence provider that generates the pre-consultation assistant's replies and prepares preliminary review reports; and a messaging infrastructure used to forward new enquiries to our team. Transfers abroad are made within the conditions of Article 9 KVKK.
6. Retention
Personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods required by law, and is then erased, destroyed or anonymised. Phone numbers left with the "call me back" option in the Q&A section are deleted no later than 12 months after the request is closed. A nickname and question published in the Q&A section are kept for as long as they remain online; your phone number and IP address are never published.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information if it is; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request erasure or destruction within the conditions of Article 7 KVKK; to request that third parties to whom the data was transferred are notified of these actions; to object to an outcome against you arising exclusively from automated analysis; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest. Requests in English are accepted. If you live outside Türkiye, the data protection law of your country may give you additional rights; you can exercise them through the same channels.
