SafeChainVault Scam: Fake Fund Recovery on FCA List

For someone who has lost money on a crypto, forex or stock platform, the sentence "we trace your loss on the chain and bring it back" is extremely tempting. SafeChainVault is a fund recovery scheme that sells exactly this hope, and its target group is people who have already come out of an investment fraud. The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) added the scheme to its list of unauthorised firms on 24 September 2026.
🚩 What Does SafeChainVault Promise the Victim?
The site claims that it tracks funds lost in crypto, forex, CFD and stock frauds through "blockchain analysis" and recovers them in coordination with exchanges and banks. It says its only fee is a small deduction from the amount recovered; yet the same text also states that "additional costs requested by third-party platforms are not covered by the company". In recovery schemes, the second payment is requested through exactly this door: under the name of tax, commission, wallet verification or a "release" fee.
- The panel that opens after registration shows a "recovered balance" in BTC and ETH and a withdrawal button; the amount shown has no real backing.
- The logos of Binance, Coinbase, Bitfinex, Crypto.com and ConsenSys are displayed as "partners"; no partnership document is offered for any of these companies.
- Success stories are given with full names and a "verified" label, but carry no verifiable trace.
- The victim's transaction history, wallet addresses and correspondence are collected on the ground of "opening a case".
🔍 Domains, Phone Numbers and Email Addresses
The contact details in the FCA entry and on the site itself are as follows:
- Domains: safechainvault.net, safechainvault.org (the .net domain was registered in late 2025)
- Phone numbers: 02033181495 (appears to be a London line), +16144540183 (USA)
- Email: [email protected], [email protected]
- Stated address: Alpenstrasse 14, Zug, Switzerland
Because there are also crypto wallet sites with similar names, it should be noted that the scheme described here is the two domains above.
⚖️ Official Registration Status
SafeChainVault is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK); it has no permission to track funds on behalf of investors or to provide capital markets services in Türkiye. The current list of authorised firms is on the SPK page of intermediary institutions. The FCA, for its part, has recorded that the scheme operates in the United Kingdom without authorisation. Taking money again from a person who has already suffered a loss, with a promise of repayment, is dealt with among the cases of qualified fraud committed through computer systems under Article 158 of the Turkish Penal Code.
🔗 Other Recovery Sites Running the Same Scheme
The pattern of "we traced your loss, one last payment is needed to withdraw" did not start with SafeChainVault. We have covered similar schemes that target investment victims a second time one by one.

- Blockaid-rec: a recovery site built on chain analysis talkTR

- M2Recoveries and Reverse Funds: a repayment promise to forex victimsTR
🧭 The Legal Process for Investment Fraud Victims
The main loss occurred on the investment platform before SafeChainVault, and the legal process starts from there. The general flow is as follows:
- The first loss and any payments made to the recovery site are assessed together; the path an investment victim follows becomes clear at this stage.
- The matter reaches the investigating authorities through the criminal complaint process.
- In crypto transfers, cases where the money was moved to a crypto exchangeTR need special tracing.
- Once the perpetrators are reached, the possibility of recovery is assessed through an asset investigationTR.
