On its home page, tradedu.com says it offers "forex, futures, index, metal, energy and share CFDs from a single account", while further down the same page it describes itself as "a software development company that does not provide investment or brokerage services". This contradictory language at TradeDu is a familiar method of offshore platforms set up to avoid licensing obligations.

The site carries a "Start trading NOW" button, a live price feed and a list of CFD products, yet the menu offers only "Try Software" and "Get Software". The legal notice states that Tradedu Ltd is not responsible for the actions of customers who buy the software. This gives the user the impression of dealing with a brokerage, but leaves no licensed entity to hold responsible in a dispute.
