Tuniex Digitals Scam: Crypto Platform Charging Release Fees

Tuniex Digitals Forex and Crypto Scam
An anonymous scam platform that operates under the name of crypto and digital asset trading and keeps its victims paying through withdrawal blocks and extra "release fee" demands.
Licence and Regulatory Status
Domain: tuniex-digitals.com
This platform holds no licence or permission from any financial authority. Tuniex Digitals is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published a warning about this platform on 11 March 2026.
The platform uses the name "Digitals" to try to look like an institution that trades crypto and digital assets. However, there is no regulatory record of any legitimate crypto exchange.
Institutions that offer crypto transactions in Türkiye are expected to appear on the SPK list of intermediary institutions. Tuniex Digitals is not on this list.
Operator identity: No information about any person or company behind the platform exists. It is run by anonymous operators.
Scam Methods
Promise of crypto trading: The platform claims it will let you trade Bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies. However, no legitimate trading takes place.
Withdrawal blocks: When the victim tries to withdraw crypto or money from the account, the platform blocks the transaction. Withdrawal requests go unanswered or hidden conditions are put forward.
"Release fee" demands: After the withdrawal block continues, the platform contacts the victim and asks for an extra payment with excuses such as "A transaction fee must be paid to release the funds" or "There is a tax balance".
Fictitious transactions: The "transactions", "profits" and "balance" shown in the account are entirely fake. No real crypto transaction is made.
An ongoing cycle: After each payment, a further payment is requested with new excuses (accounting fee, KYC verification, platform upgrade fee and so on). This cycle continues until the victim turns to legal routes.
Account block: When the victim starts to be suspicious, the account is blocked at once and contact with the platform breaks off.

Ways of Protection
- Crypto withdrawal block as a red flag: If crypto or money cannot be withdrawn from a crypto exchange and a "technical problem" is given as the excuse, this is certainly a scam.
- Suspicion of anonymous operators: If no information about any person or company behind a platform exists, this is an obvious sign of a scam.
- The "Digitals" name as a scam marker: Similar platforms that use the name "Digitals" (tuniex-digitals, coindigitals, digitalscoin and so on) are typically scams.
- Licence check: A crypto exchange is expected to hold a licence from authorities such as the SPK, CFTC or FCA. Tuniex Digitals is unlicensed.
- Extra fee demands: Legitimate crypto exchanges do not ask for a "fund release fee" or a "hidden tax" for withdrawals.
- Anonymous platforms: Accounts on anonymous crypto platforms carry a high risk; legitimate exchanges are licensed and identify who operates them.
- Extra payments: Where money has been deposited and the withdrawal is blocked, a further payment does not release the funds and only increases the loss. Legal assessment is a separate step.
