Verimdaş Scam Warning: Deepfake Ads, Cloaking and 13 Domains

Verimdaş is an investment brand promoted on Instagram through deepfake videos and adverts designed to look like news stories, promising "AI-powered automated trading". It is also searched on Google as "Verimtaş". The 13 domains we examined clearly show how a single scheme was set up, how it gets around advert checks and how it collects users' details.

In short: Verimdaş is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). The statement on one of its websites that it is "supervised by the SPK and the BDDK" is untrue. Most of the domains were registered in bulk on 7–8 October 2026, within a few days of each other. The websites carry invented recommendations in the name of the Minister of Treasury and Finance, the Governor of the Central Bank and other well-known figures. The real aim is to collect the visitor's name and phone number and have a so-called "adviser" call them.

🕸️ One Brand, Dozens of Domains

Domain Registered Finding
verimdas-tr.com 07.10.2026 Sign-up form
verimdas.org 07.10.2026 Sign-up form
verimdas.live 07.10.2026 Sign-up form
verimdas.online 07.10.2026 Registered, not yet live
verimdas-ai.com 08.10.2026 Opens only from Türkiye
tr-verimdas.com 08.10.2026 Opens only from Türkiye; fake reviews using famous names
ai-verimdas.com 08.10.2026 Opens only from Türkiye; "profit calculator"
verimdas-tr.org 08.10.2026 Sign-up form
verimdas.xyz 08.10.2026 Claims to be "supervised by the SPK and the BDDK"
insightt-base.com 08.10.2026 Front "masterclass" site
primee-vest.com 11.05.2026 Front "financial literacy" site
invesledger.com 04.08.2026 Front "publishing project"; fake reviews in the names of the Minister and the Central Bank Governor
finzy0-eius82.sbs 13.10.2026 Registered on the day this article was written, still empty

Nine "verimdas" domains were registered within two days. Some of the sites share the same Cloudflare account, and three share the same tracking ID. The purpose of so many domains is clear: when one is blocked, the traffic is redirected to the next. The .sbs address made up of random characters is another example of this "back-up" approach.

🎭 "Education" Sites That Get Around Advert Checks

When opened directly, primee-vest.com, insightt-base.com and invesledger.com look harmless: "financial literacy", "investment masterclass", "independent publishing project". When the same addresses are opened with the parameters passed on by a Google advert, however, the Verimdaş page appears: "₺3.9 billion+ in client profits", "more than ₺50,000 earned per day".

This is called cloaking. The advertising platform's reviewer sees the education page and approves the advert, while the user who clicks on the advert is shown the investment trap. Some Verimdaş sites also show content only to IP addresses in Türkiye and return a fake "page not found" screen to visitors from abroad.

🗣️ Names Used Without Permission

  • Mehmet Şimşek — an invented recommendation carrying the title "Minister of Treasury and Finance" and a "Verified" badge.
  • Fatih Karahan — an invented recommendation carrying the title "Governor of the Central Bank".
  • Selçuk Bayraktar and Ahmet Hakan — invented comments implying that they use the platform.

None of these people has any connection with Verimdaş; their names and images are being used without permission. The deepfake videos in the Instagram adverts are the video version of the same method. Earlier examples of the same scheme: deepfake celebrity investment advertsTR and the scam misusing the Baykar nameTR.

📋 Promises That Contradict Each Other

The websites of the same brand contradict one another:

  • verimdas.xyz: "Licensed, supervised by the SPK and the BDDK", with a "personal investment adviser" assigned to every member.
  • tr-verimdas.com and ai-verimdas.com: "Not a brokerage firm, does not manage funds, does not provide advice".
  • ai-verimdas.com: "Works with selected brokerage firms".
  • The minimum investment is ₺12,000 on one site and 13,350 TL on another; the profit promise ranges from "up to 51,570 TL" to "more than ₺50,000 per day".
  • Urgency patterns such as "limited places", "8 people signed up in the last 5 minutes" and "open only to Turkish citizens"; stories of users who lost their jobs and then "earned millions".

📞 What Happens After the Form Is Filled In?

Every one of the sites has the same form: first name, surname, email and phone number. In the background, the form also sends an affiliate tracking ID (subid) and a country restriction. This is a sales-funnel style lead generation model: the site does not take money; it collects the visitor's details and passes them to a call centre. Someone introducing themselves as a "personal adviser" then calls, and the process turns into the classic forex scheme: deposit, fake profit screen, blocked withdrawal.

An example of the same model that we examined earlier: Immediate TradeTR.

Where details have been entered into one of these forms, it is worth checking whether the institution named by the caller actually exists and whether it holds SPK authorisation: SPK licence checkTR. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).

⚖️ Legal Assessment

Providing investment services and advice without authorisation is an offence under Article 109 of Capital Markets Law No. 6362. Gaining trust by using computer systems and advertising tools and by presenting oneself as linked to public institutions is assessed under the qualified fraud provisions of Article 158 of the Turkish Penal Code. Using real people's names and images without permission is also a violation of personality rights (see deepfakes and unauthorised use of imagesTR). Passing the data collected through the forms on to third parties also amounts to a breach of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). ❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Are Verimdaş and Verimtaş the same?

Yes. The brand is used as "Verimdaş", and the spelling "Verimtaş" is also common in searches. Whichever spelling appears, it has no SPK authorisation.

The advert showed Mehmet Şimşek / Selçuk Bayraktar. Is it not real?

No. These people's names, titles and images are being used without permission; the deepfake videos are produced with artificial intelligence. No minister or public official recommends an investment platform in this way.

I only filled in the form and did not deposit money. Is there a risk?

The details may have been passed on to call centres, and repeated calls under different names are possible. Without a deposit there is no financial loss, but investment suggestions made in these calls should not be relied on.

I deposited money. What can be done?

The steps of the process are explained in what forex scam victims can do and asset tracingTR. A list of similar schemes: stock and investment scammersTR. For detailed information and legal support, you can contact Savun Law & Consultancy.
