Is XS Legit? Withdrawal Delays, Not Licensed in Türkiye

XS (xs.com, XS Ltd) is a forex platform that has grown worldwide through aggressive advertising and sponsorships, but has recently been the subject of repeated reports of profits being erased and withdrawal requests being refused. Although it holds several foreign regulatory licences, it has no SPK registration or official activity in Türkiye; serving Turkish investors in this state is unlawful. XS is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
🚨 A Licensed Look, Locked Vaults
The XS case is a textbook demonstration that a foreign licence gives the investor no assurance. The platform displays the names of well-known supervisory authorities, yet the following pattern is repeated in user reports:
- After trades that end in profit, withdrawal requests are held for months on grounds of "internal review", with the same template reply given to every application,
- Realised profits are cancelled retroactively on undocumented accusations such as "abuse of trading conditions",
- Open positions are closed against the user's will,
- As the number of users waiting for withdrawals grows, the support channels fall silent.
This picture is consistent not with isolated technical faults but with a systematic practice that deliberately makes access to customer money harder.
📉 Reliability Assessment
Although the platform is relatively new, it has grown quickly, and both the volume and the nature of the negative reports about it are serious. Accounts that profitable accounts are being targeted point to a mode of operation aimed at pushing winning customers out of the system. For a Turkish investor, the one decisive criterion is clear: XS is not authorised by the SPK.
🔍 The Türkiye Dimension
The name of XS has also begun to be mentioned in forex complaint circles in Türkiye. The platform reaches Turkish users through Turkish-language content and intermediaries; however, as it has no legal entity in Türkiye, there is no local authority that an investor with a problem can turn to. It has not been seen that foreign licences bring a Turkish investor's money back.
🛡️ Checks Before Investing
- Any platform seen in advertising can first be looked up on the SPK list of authorised institutions.
- Sponsorship deals and celebrity collaborations are not a measure of reliability; platforms with large marketing budgets can also cause harm to investors.
- Once reports of "profit cancellation" and "withdrawal refusal" begin to accumulate about a platform, distance is warranted regardless of the number of licences.
