Zen Capital Market Scam Warning: NZ FMA Alert

Zen Capital Market (www.zencapitalmarket.com) is a platform marketed with an ambitious story: it claims to have been founded in Hong Kong by former investment bankers and to be a leading crypto and CFD broker in Asia. One important detail sits behind this polished corporate narrative: the New Zealand regulator has placed the platform on its warning list as a fake investment platform.

🔍 Why Are Turkish Investors Targeted?

In its own promotional material the platform announces a "MENA Regional Desk" in Dubai that serves Turkish and Arab investors in particular. In other words, the Turkish market is targeted by design, not by chance. Even so, Zen Capital Market is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK); it has no legal entity and no official activity in Türkiye. The "Dubai office representatives" who approach Turkish investors by phone or through social media have no legal authority whatsoever.

🚩 Claims and Facts

  • The company presents itself with a licence registered in Mauritius and also runs a twin brand called ZF Markets. Offshore island registrations give investors in Türkiye no protection.
  • The claims of billions of dollars in trading volume and activity in dozens of countries cannot be verified from any independent source.
  • The platform uses an off-the-shelf trading infrastructure of the kind unlicensed brokers commonly choose; the story of a "smart platform developed in-house" does not reflect reality.
  • Its social media accounts name different countries as headquarters (Hong Kong, Dubai, St. Vincent), which points to address obfuscation rather than a consistent corporate structure.

🛡️ Checks Before Investing

  • Where a "regional desk" or "Türkiye representative" is said to be assigned to an investor, the institution can first be looked up in the SPK list of authorised institutions.
  • However impressive the founding story, a verifiable registry record and a supervising authority are what count.
  • The fact that the same team operates more than one brand (Zen Capital Market / ZF Markets) is a serious risk indicator on its own.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Mauritius licence of Zen Capital Market protect me?

No. Offshore registrations of this kind give no legal protection in Türkiye; the only valid authority for an investor in Türkiye is an SPK licence, and Zen Capital Market has no SPK record.

Are ZF Markets and Zen Capital Market the same operation?

Yes. ZF Markets is presented as the second brand of the same operation; the aim is to continue under the other brand once negative content builds up about one of them.

Could a Turkish-speaking representative in Dubai not be a genuine investment adviser?

The institution of a person who markets investment services to people resident in Türkiye must hold SPK authorisation; any marketing carried out without it is unauthorised.

Is there an official warning about Zen Capital Market?

Yes. The New Zealand Financial Markets Authority has added the platform to its warning list and described it as a fake investment platform.
