Broker Merco Sul Scam Warning: Fake Paraguay Licence Number

Broker Merco Sul S.A.E. is an operation at bmsmercosul.com that offers forex, crypto, stock CFDs and commodity trading on MetaTrader 5 and presents itself as a licensed "casa de bolsa" (brokerage house) in Paraguay. In a circular dated 29 October 2026, the Paraguayan Superintendencia de Valores (securities regulator) stated that this licence claim corresponds to no authorisation at all.
🚨 What Did the Paraguayan Superintendencia de Valores Say?
According to the regulator, the "CNV licence" number 80139959-9 shown on the website does not belong to any authorisation. The scheme described in the circular is as follows: fake profits are displayed on a digital panel, and when the client tries to withdraw money, new payments to personal accounts are requested. Extraordinary, risk-free returns were listed as a warning sign.
From the Türkiye perspective the picture is clear: Broker Merco Sul is not authorised by the Capital Markets Board (SPK); the current list is published on the SPK page of authorised institutions. Operations of this kind are assessed under the qualified fraud provisions of Article 158 of the Turkish Penal Code.
