DS Finance Scam: Unlicensed Forex, Telegram Advisers

DS Finance (DS Forex / DS Capital Finance) is a forex platform with no SPK authorisation and no physical office in Türkiye, which reaches investors through Telegram channels and phone representatives. User reports say that most trades steered by the advisers assigned to investors close at a loss, and that refund requests are put off for weeks with promises that "we will get back to you".
🚩 How DS Finance Operates
The operation first draws investors in through a crowded Telegram channel, then gets them to deposit money with one-to-one representative and adviser support. The elements that stand out in victim statements are these:
- The "Scalp Trade" Telegram channel: In the channel, which appears to have tens of thousands of members, "legal warning" texts referring to Law No. 6362 are posted to make the group look professional and compliant. These texts do not mean the channel has SPK authorisation.
- Commodity and index trades: Investors are shown quick gains on instruments such as gold, oil and indices; small early profits are used as encouragement for larger deposits.
- An officeless "ghost" operation: There is no centre in Türkiye that can be approached; the overseas locations given as addresses cannot be verified.
- Constant name changes: The operation is seen to have run similar activity earlier under the names Volume Investment and Nota, moving its infrastructure to a new name once a brand wears out.
📉 Losses Through an Adviser and Stalled Refunds
Recent user reports show that DS Finance wears down not only large sums but also relatively small deposits in the same way, leaving refund requests without result:
- Adviser assignment: A user who deposits money is assigned an "adviser" said to manage the trades. Trades are opened by the investor on the adviser's instruction; the investor is led to believe the account is under professional management.
- Most trades going negative: Most of the trades the adviser has the investor make close at a loss and no gain builds up in the account. This is a typical pattern indicating that trades are steered to wear down the balance, not to benefit the investor.
- Refund requests kept waiting: When the user asks for the deposited money back, the representatives do not refuse; instead they keep saying "we will get back to you" and stretch the process for weeks. For a refund request made at the end of January, it is reported that no payment had reached the account even months later.
- The "system update" excuse: For larger withdrawal requests, the process is frozen for periods of up to six months on technical grounds such as infrastructure work, maintenance or a system update.
- Ghosting: Representatives who were extremely attentive at the deposit stage leave questions unanswered or block the investor after a withdrawal request.
Stalling of this kind is used to lose the trail of the money and to delay the victim from starting the legal process. Our article on copy trading and adviser-steered fraudTR has more information on the adviser-steered loss model.

⚖️ Legal Position and SPK Authorisation
DS Finance is not on the list of authorised intermediary institutions of the SPK and is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Offering leveraged forex trading to persons resident in Türkiye, and collecting money for that purpose, requires SPK permission under Capital Markets Law No. 6362. Money deposited with a platform operating without permission is not covered by the protection of the Investor Compensation Centre. In addition, deliberately putting an investor into losses through an adviser and systematically stalling refund requests contain elements that may be assessed as qualified fraud. 🛡️ Short Protection Notes
- An "adviser" assigned by a platform without SPK authorisation does not mean the investment is professionally managed.
- Legal warning texts and member counts on Telegram channels are no substitute for a licence.
- With operations that keep changing names, research under the old brand names can reveal the history of the same network.
