Duhani Capital Scam: MT5 Accounts Wiped, Spread Abuse

Duhani Capital is a platform that promises investors a professional forex and crypto trading experience on MetaTrader 5, but has no SPK authorisation in Türkiye. User reports say that profits built up in the account are almost wiped out by a single trade opened by the company's representatives, after which the representatives cannot be reached through any channel. The platform is also known for draining accounts through artificial spread widening and excessive swap charges.

🚩 How Duhani Capital Operates
Duhani Capital gives investors confidence by using the world-famous MetaTrader 5 software. Yet MT5 is only an interface; the price feed, spreads and swap rates come from a server controlled by the institution running the platform. Operations like Duhani Capital use the model known as "B-Book", keeping orders in their own closed pool instead of passing them to the real market. This allows the institution to manipulate prices as it likes and to push the investor into a loss with a single move, even while the investor is in profit.
- Representative-driven account: Representatives who deal with the investor one to one take over managing the account and opening trades. The investor may find trades in their own account that they did not open.
- Gaining trust by showing profit: At first, profit is allowed to build up in the account; the investor is convinced that the system works.
- False licence statements: To inspire trust, the company claims to hold international licences; these documents either cannot be verified or are non-functional certificates obtained from jurisdictions without real supervisory power.
📉 Wiping the Account with a Trade Opened by a Representative
User reports from December 2025 show Duhani Capital's most distinctive method clearly:
- An account with accumulated profit: A certain profit balance has built up in the investor's MetaTrader 5 account, and the investor expects to withdraw it.
- A new trade opened by the representative: Company representatives start a new trade in the investor's account. In the first minutes the trade appears to be in profit, which delays any intervention by the investor.
- A rapid reversal: Within a short time the trade turns sharply negative and the account balance falls to almost zero, only a few dollars. Both the accumulated profit and the principal are thus erased by a single trade.
- Contact is cut off: Right after the loss, the representatives who handled the account and introduced themselves by first name stop answering messages and calls. The investor receives no explanation for the loss.
This pattern indicates that accounts that have reached the profit-withdrawal stage are deliberately zeroed: instead of the investor withdrawing the profit, the balance returns to the company through a single trade made to look like a "market move". Our article on copy trading and adviser-steered fraudTR gives detailed information on causing losses through a representative or adviser.
⚙️ Draining the Account with Artificial Spread, Stop-Out and Swap
The artificial spread and stop-out trap: Another method behind many losses is opening the live price gap far away from market reality. A spread that is normally narrow can suddenly be widened many times over on Duhani Capital screens. This artificial jump instantly eats away the margin level and causes trades to be closed at a loss by "stop-out", that is, automatically. The investor loses the balance within seconds because of the spread widening, even though the price never went to that point.
Excessive swap charges: The institution passes on to open positions a daily carrying cost far above market standards. While the investor believes the position is in profit, these charges applied every night quietly erode the account. When questions are asked, the investor is put off with generic answers such as "market volatility".

⚖️ Legal Position and SPK Authorisation
Duhani Capital is not on the list of authorised intermediary institutions of the SPK and is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Offering leveraged trading to persons resident in Türkiye requires SPK permission under Capital Markets Law No. 6362; unauthorised activity is defined as a criminal offence. A firm saying "we are internationally licensed" does not mean it is authorised to operate in Türkiye. Opening trades in an investor's account without the investor's instruction and wiping the balance with those trades contain elements that may be assessed as qualified fraud. For details on verifying an institution, see our articles on SPK licence checks and institution verificationTR, and on relations with overseas structures, disputes with overseas brokers.
🛡️ Short Protection Notes
- The use of MetaTrader 5 does not show that the institution running the platform is reliable or authorised.
- At authorised intermediary institutions, no trade is opened in a client account without the client's instruction.
- Spreads that widen many times over in a short time and high swap charges are typical signs of B-Book type manipulation.
