Fortex Capital Markets Scam: Loans, Lot Rules, Blocked Withdrawals

Fortex Capital Markets (Fortex Capital Markets Global) is a platform that has investors trade under the guidance of an "expert", first leads them into losses and then pushes them to take out loans and deposit more. At the withdrawal stage no payment is made, with excuses such as "system maintenance", withholding tax and a lot requirement.
🚩 "Expert" Guidance and Taking Out Loans
At Fortex Capital Markets the investor is not left alone; a representative introduced as an "expert" is assigned, and trades are opened on this person's instructions. Victim reports describe the process as follows:
- Wrong trades: The expert steers the investor into trades that lead to losses within a few weeks. This method is common in frauds run on the "the expert trades for you" storyTR.
- Taking out loans: As the losses grow, the investor is urged to take out a bank loan; with words such as "your loan has been approved, your margin level has gone up", new money is deposited.
- Constant pressure to trade: The money that arrives through the loan is put into trades in the same way. The investor loses both their savings and the borrowed money.
Getting investors into debt to invest multiplies the loss; in our article on investment fraud run through indebtednessTR we covered the common features of these schemes.
💸 Withdrawal Blocks: Withholding Tax, Lot Requirement and Extra Deposits
When the investor wants to withdraw money, the attitude of Fortex Capital Markets changes completely:
- Change of contact: Messages sent on WhatsApp receive inadequate answers; the investor is constantly passed to a new "expert" and kept waiting.
- Withholding tax demand: Citing the loan that was taken out, the investor is told that withholding tax must be paid before the withdrawal. Even after this payment is made, the withdrawal does not happen.
- Lot requirement or extra deposit: The investor is then told that the whole amount can be withdrawn only if trades of a certain lot volume (for example 25 lots) are opened or a significant additional sum is deposited. This pattern is typical of schemes that tie withdrawals to lot and volume requirementsTR.
- Empty promises: Even when the extra payment and trading conditions are met, no withdrawal is made.
A genuine brokerage does not ask for tax or an extra deposit before a withdrawal. If tax is withheld, the firm deducts it from the balance.
🚧 The "System Maintenance" Excuse and Stalling Tactics
- Crypto withdrawal block: Crypto withdrawals are kept closed for weeks with the explanation "system maintenance". On genuine exchanges wallet maintenance does not last more than a few hours; maintenance lasting weeks is an excuse meant to slow down the exit.
- Pushing towards the bank: For large withdrawals the investor is told "you can only withdraw to a bank". The aim is that the investor gives up or delays the withdrawal out of fear of an account freeze.
- Blocks on large balances: Although small amounts are sometimes allowed out, requests on large balances are suspended indefinitely with the words "waiting for manager approval".
- No one to answer to: The support line, very attentive at the deposit stage, does not reply when withdrawals are asked about; since no written contract is provided, the investor is left without a counterpart.
