Neptune Securities Scam Warning: Fake ASIC Licence Claim

Neptune Securities is a forex platform that claims to operate from Sydney, Australia, but whose real origin is Wuhan, China (Wuhan Zhongshunchicheng / Ocean Global Markets Ltd). The platform's ASIC licence has been found to be fake, and it is reported to liquidate customer accounts through "induced trades".

🔴 Licence and Reliability Analysis

  • ● Fake ASIC licence: The platform claims to be licensed by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). However, Neptune Securities does not appear in ASIC's official records. This is a clearly false claim.
  • ● Operation of Chinese (Wuhan) origin: Although the platform claims to be in Australia, its real operating centre has been identified as Wuhan, China (Wuhan Zhongshunchicheng). Ocean Global Markets Ltd is the name of the real company behind this platform.
  • ● Old founding date, recent operation: Although the platform is presented as founded in 2009, customer complaints and the fraud methods have become apparent only in recent years.
  • ● No market trading: Customer funds never reach the market. All trades take place between the platform and the customer (Dealing Desk).
  • ● Not authorised in Türkiye: Neptune Securities is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

⚠️ Fraud Methods

  • ● Induced trades: The platform pressures customers into making trades that "do not generate returns". These trades are designed to increase the customer's losses. As losses grow, the account moves closer to liquidation.
  • ● Account liquidation strategy: When a customer account reaches a certain loss, the platform liquidates it automatically. This means the customer loses the whole of the remaining money.
  • ● Funds do not reach the market: Customer deposits never enter the external markets. All trades are carried out in the platform's internal system and are manipulated to increase customer losses.
  • ● Non-Australian background: Although the platform appears to operate in Australia, the real operation is run from China. Customer complaints or supervisory action can be easily evaded.
  • ● Email and WhatsApp communication: The platform communicates through the email address [email protected] and WhatsApp; this means customer data is held in a network that can be monitored.

🛡️ Protection Guide

  • ● ASIC licence verification: A licence can be verified on the official SPK website and in ASIC's official records. A platform missing from the ASIC records is best avoided. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).
  • ● Geography verification: Where a platform claims to be in Australia, ASIC or the Australian official bodies can confirm the claim, and the IP address and server location can be examined.
  • ● Dealing Desk platforms: Platforms that "hold the opposite side of customer trades" carry a potential for fraud. Only ECN (Electronic Communication Network) or STP (Straight Through Processing) platforms are generally regarded as more transparent.
  • ● Account liquidation conditions: Before choosing a platform, it is useful to learn under which conditions an account will be liquidated. Automatic liquidations are an indicator of fraud.
