Is Sidra Chain Legit? Mining App Scam Warning

Sidra Chain is a crypto app that spreads through the promise of "mining" a token called SDA on a phone, and presents itself as linked to Islamic finance products. Reports from users in Türkiye say that accounts were frozen and access was blocked after identity verification.

• Product: A mobile app in which SDA tokens are accumulated by "mining" on a smartphone; identity verification is mandatory for use.
• Subject of the complaint: The freezing of an account and the blocking of the user in June 2026.

🚩 Warning Signs in the Mobile Mining Promise

In schemes of this kind the token is first accumulated for free; the user is told that it will gain value and be listed on an exchange in the future, and may then be asked to invite friends, buy a paid acceleration package or pay a "verification fee". The accumulated balance cannot be transferred out of the app; when the account is frozen, the user is left with a number that has no value outside the app. The collection of identity documents also creates a separate data risk.

Collecting money through a computer system under an investment promise may be treated as qualified fraud under Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Penal Code.
