Swap Euro Review: Unlicensed Platform Blocked by CONSOB

Italy's capital markets authority CONSOB decided in October 2026 to block access to swapeurobv.com, a site offering investment services without authorisation under the name Swap Euro. The name, with its currency swap and euro associations, gives the impression of a corporate finance company.

In short: Swap Euro is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and has been blocked in Europe for unauthorised investment services. A balance that grows on the panel and extra payment requests at withdrawal are the known pattern of such platforms. Legal routes exist for claiming back the money sent.

🔍 swapeurobv.com: A Short-Lived Domain

The domain was bought in July 2026, and the CONSOB decision came a few months later; as of today the site cannot be reached. The "bv" suffix in the address recalls the limited company type in the Netherlands, but no record is offered that links the platform to an authorised company. The closing of the site does not prevent the same team from continuing under a new domain.

🚩 The Path Followed on Platforms of This Kind

  • Redirection to a registration form through advertisements or cold calls from a call centreTR
  • A small first deposit and a balance that grows quickly on the panel
  • A commission, tax or "account verification" payment at the withdrawal request
  • Contact cut off completely once the site closes

Swap Euro is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK); the institutions that can provide investment services in Türkiye can be seen in the SPK list of authorised intermediary institutions. Unauthorised capital markets activity is defined as an offence in Article 109 of Capital Markets Law No. 6362.

🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method

We have also written before about other platforms that received warnings in Europe for unauthorised activity.

🧭 The Legal Process for Victims

  1. The route an investment victim follows is mapped out.
  2. The criminal complaint process is initiated.
  3. For the assets identified, the possibilities of seizure and confiscationTR are assessed.

Is Swap Euro a company registered in the Netherlands?

The "bv" suffix in the address gives that impression, but there is no record linking the platform to an authorised entity; CONSOB blocked the site for unauthorised activity.

I am being called in the name of Swap Euro from another site. Could it be the same operation?

It is common for blocked platforms to continue under a new domain; the same name and the same flow may point to a continuation of the same team.
