Access Tradex Scam Warning: FCA Unauthorised Firm

Access Tradex is a platform about which the UK financial regulator, the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), has issued an official warning as an unauthorised firm. The FCA found that this scheme offers or promotes financial services without permission and warned investors explicitly. People dealing with the platform were told that they cannot benefit from the right to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service or from the compensation cover of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). That the FCA also issued warnings in the same period about several unauthorised schemes operating under different variations of the name "Tradex" points to a coordinated fraud network. Access Tradex is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).

🚩 Is Access Tradex Reliable?

  • No SPK licence: Access Tradex does not hold the Capital Markets Board (SPK) authorisation that is mandatory for carrying out brokerage activity in Türkiye. The platform does not appear on the list of licensed brokerage firms at spk.gov.tr.
  • An official warning has been published by the FCA: The FCA published a direct warning about Access Tradex, finding that the platform offers or promotes financial services without permission. The FCA warning states plainly that investors should stay away from this scheme.
  • No investor protection mechanism: The FCA states that people dealing with this platform cannot benefit from the safeguards of the Financial Ombudsman Service and the FSCS. This means the funds deposited are not under any legal protection.
  • Use of false contact details: The FCA notes that such unauthorised schemes often provide false addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail details, that these details can change over time, and that in some cases details belonging to other businesses are used.
  • Suspicion of a coordinated fraud network: The FCA has also published separate warnings about schemes operating under variations of the "Tradex" name, such as TRADEX/TRADE X and TRADEX MARKET. This indicates that the same organisation continues its activity by re-forming under different names.

📉 How Does the Fraud Work?

  • False licence and credibility claims: The platform presents itself as a regulated and licensed scheme, yet it holds no valid authorisation from any regulatory authority. Fake documents and references are used to build trust.
  • Winning customers with promises of high returns: Potential victims are approached through social media, e-mail or telephone and promised extraordinary investment returns. Risk warnings are deliberately hidden.
  • Systematic obstruction at the withdrawal stage: When investors try to withdraw their funds, requests are postponed indefinitely with excuses such as a technical problem, a verification process or an additional fee.
  • Identity-changing strategy: When regulatory warnings or victim awareness grow, the platform name, domain and contact details are changed and the same fraud continues under a new identity. Name variations such as Tradex, Trade X and Tradex Market are an indication of this strategy.

🛡️ Protection Guide

  • ✅ Before money is sent to any platform, the SPK list of licensed brokerage firms (spk.gov.tr) can be consulted. Access Tradex is not on this list.
  • ✅ Whether a platform is on the FCA warning list can be checked at fca.org.uk/scamsmart. Access Tradex appears on this list as an unauthorised firm.
  • ✅ Platforms with similar names but different domains call for particular caution. Fraudulent schemes often continue the same activity by changing names.
  • ✅ Learning that no application can be made to the Financial Ombudsman Service or the FSCS over a problem with an investment platform is the clearest indication that the platform is unregulated.
  • ✅ Where a person has become a victim, all correspondence, transfer documents and screenshots are normally kept as evidence. A criminal complaint can be filed with the prosecutor's office.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Why has the FCA issued a warning about Access Tradex?

The FCA found that Access Tradex does not have the permission required to offer or promote financial services in the United Kingdom. The warning officially confirms that the platform is not subject to any regulatory supervision and that investor funds are not protected. Dealing with firms warned about by the FCA means that all investor protection mechanisms are switched off.

Are Access Tradex and Tradex Market the same scheme?

The FCA has published separate warnings about Access Tradex, TRADEX/TRADE X and TRADEX MARKET. Whether these schemes belong to the same organisation is not known for certain, but a similar naming strategy and simultaneous warnings point to a coordinated fraud network. Fraudulent schemes often change names and domains to avoid regulatory action.

What can be done by an Access Tradex victim?

All transfer documents, correspondence and platform screenshots are usually kept as evidence, and a criminal complaint can be filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. For detailed information and legal support, you can contact Savun Law & Consultancy.
