City Wealth Scam: Forex Platform Blocking Withdrawals

The inability to withdraw money deposited on a trading platform operating as City Wealth was reflected in an international warning record at the end of October 2026. The record says that after money was transferred to the account, withdrawal requests went unanswered and the platform cut off contact.

🚩 Why Is Withdrawal Blocked at City Wealth?

The flow in the record is a classic "one-way vault" pattern: money is accepted easily, a balance is shown as if trading were taking place on the account, and the moment a withdrawal is requested either silence begins or a new payment condition is put forward. In schemes of this kind the profit shown has no real market counterpart; the figures are produced on the platform's own panel.

⚖️ SPK Authorisation and the Legal Position

City Wealth does not appear on the SPK list of authorised intermediary institutions; it is not authorised by the SPK. Under SPK Board Decision No. 8/297 of 24 February 2017 (8/297 Board Decision), unauthorised intermediation for investors in Türkiye in leveraged transactions counts as unauthorised activity. No domain or company link has been found with City Invest, a different operation with a similar nameTR.
