Forex GPT (forex-gpt.com) Scam: AI Test and WhatsApp Signals

Forex GPT is a website that describes itself as an "AI-powered trading test" and says it builds the user's investment profile with a one-minute survey. At the end of the survey, instead of a result, comes a contact form and an offer of a "bonus signal of the day" on WhatsApp; from there a "personal account manager" takes the person over.
🚩 How the Survey Turns into an Investment Trap
The survey asks about age, experience, a monthly "passive income" target, the amount that could be deposited at the start and the level of risk the person can accept. These questions look less like an educational tool than a customer record prepared for a sales team: who can deposit how much, and how much loss they are willing to bear.
- A claim of being prepared by "CFA-certified experts and artificial intelligence"; no expert is named
- A requirement to leave a name and phone number to see the result
- The promise of a free signal group and a "personal account manager"
- Steering towards copy trading, automated trading software and signal products
- Five-star reviews written only with initials, which cannot be verified
🔍 The Number, Accounts and Official Warning Identified
The "Unlock Today's Bonus Signal on WhatsApp" button on the site leads to the number +44 7428 322809. The FCA warning also lists the firm's Instagram account @yourforexstyle and a Facebook profile. The domain forex-gpt.com was registered on 11 July 2024; the site shows no company name, address or licence details.
Forex GPT does not appear in the SPK list of authorised institutions. SPK Decision No. 5/173 of 3 February 2017 warns the public against unauthorised investment advice and guidance through social media and messaging channels.
🔗 Other Schemes Using the Same Method
We have covered the scheme of gaining trust with a free signal and then handing the person to an account manager before, under different names.
- @GoldCircleypur: steering from a gold and forex signal group to a platformTR
- @jessicafxgold: handover to an account manager after signalsTR
- NewRockwood: gathering clients with AI-themed adverts
- Fake investment call centres that phone people who leave a formTR
🧭 The Legal Process for Victims
- The platform the account manager steered the person to, and the accounts the money was sent to, are identified; a refund from a foreign forex firm relies on this information.
- The chain of steering is passed to the investigating authority within a criminal complaint process.
- If the payments were sent abroad by transfer, the possibility of a SWIFT transfer recall is examined separately.
