FXgenix Scam: Fake Forex Robot Built on Martingale Trading

A EURUSD robot that works straight out of the box and needs no settings: this is how easy FXgenix's sales page made the setup sound. Behind it was a "light martingale" logic that enlarges the position to make up for losses. On 1 July 2026 the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published an unauthorised financial services warning for fxgenix.com.
⚙️ From Installation to the Broker Account
FXgenix was sold as an expert advisor installed on MetaTrader 4, which opens trades on the EURUSD pair on the 15-minute chart based on the Alligator and Fractals indicators. The page carried "as featured in" logos of well-known media outlets and a claim that the robot had been optimised with tick data since 2016.
In schemes of this kind, after the robot is bought, the user is told to open an account with a "robot-compatible" brokerage; an unregulated, offshore broker is often recommended and the robot is set up on that account. Because the money is deposited into this account and not paid to the software seller, the loss also grows there.
📉 Martingale and the High Capital Requirement
- The robot could open several orders at the same time and used the martingale method, which enlarges the position after a loss; this method can wipe out an account with a single adverse move.
- At the top of the page, a maximum drawdown figure showing more than half of the balance lost in back-testing and a high minimum capital requirement were stated.
- Contact details: [email protected] and a Dubai-coded +971 4 286 4699; the same line also appears on the robot sites Pivlex (pivlex.com) and Majesticea (majesticea.com).
- fxgenix.com was registered on 3 July 2024; the site does not open today.
FXgenix does not appear on the SPK list of authorised institutions. Directing an investor to a brokerage for leveraged transactions and bringing the parties together is unauthorised activity under SPK Decision No. 8/297 of 24 February 2017.
