TheWealthAscend Scam Warning: FINMA-Listed Fake Education Site

TheWealthAscend, which describes itself as a "Financial Learning Platform", greets visitors with a promise of education at thewealthascend.net; however, the "start learning" button does not open a lesson page but the "Trade Wealthx" trading terminal at webtrader.trade-wealthasc.com. FINMA, Switzerland's financial supervisory authority, added TheWealthAscend on 28 October 2026 to its list of entities that may be operating without authorisation.

🎓 The Terminal Behind the Education Facade

The account page contains a seven-tier plan called the "Modern Tier System"; each tier unlocks in return for a higher investment and a higher investment bonus. The terminal has tabs for currencies, shares, commodities, indices, ETFs and crypto, and Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin is suggested as the account currency. Payment in crypto means a transfer channel that is hard to reverse.

An FAQ saying "no upfront payment for registration" sits side by side on the same site with tiers that have high entry amounts. The education talk is aimed at making the user think they are "taking a course" rather than investing.

🔍 Address, Telephone and Domain Names

The site's logo is linked to the UK register entry of a London-registered company called Ascend Wealth Management Ltd; there is no information that this company operates the platform. TheWealthAscend is not authorised by the SPK (SPK list of authorised institutions). SPK Decision No. 8/297 of 24 February 2017 states that matching parties with overseas entities in leveraged trading is treated as unauthorised activity.
