Trade360 Scam Warning: Closed Platform, Clone Sites Still Active

Trade360 was presented as a platform offering forex and crypto products, operated by Crowd Tech Ltd since 2012. However, following investigations by CySEC and the cancellation of its licence by ASIC in 2022, the company ceased all activity. Even so, clone sites that use Trade360's name are still actively defrauding investors. Trade360 is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
🚩 Scam Methods
- Fake Bitcoin Revolution campaigns: In 2020-2021, Trade360 ran heavy advertising campaigns for fake investment robots under the name "Bitcoin Revolution". These campaigns used doctored photographs of celebrities and fabricated success stories.
- Hidden fees and commissions: Although the platform appeared to charge nothing at account opening, hidden fees and high commissions were applied once a withdrawal was attempted.
- Low-liquidity game: Deliberate delays in executing trades exposed clients to poor pricing.
- Account manager pressure: Especially after the first deposits, clients are phoned by account managers who promise huge profits and push them to deposit more.
- Bonus traps: New users are offered attractive bonuses, but these bonuses cannot be withdrawn and are used to lock the investment in place.
🔍 What Has Been Established
- CySEC settlement agreement: CySEC signed a settlement agreement of €230,000 with Crowd Tech Ltd. The agreement shows that the company seriously breached client protection rules.
- ASIC licence cancelled (July 2022): The Australian Securities and Investments Commission formally cancelled Trade360's licence in July 2022.
- Credit card fraud: The platform began making unauthorised transactions on clients' credit cards.
- Closure of the company (2023): In 2023 the Trade360.com domain went offline and the company stopped all activity.
- Clone sites appear: After Trade360 closed, sites using the company's name and continuing the same scam tactics appeared on alternative domains such as trade360.website and trade360.cc.
- Client complaints: Many clients have complained of receiving no response to withdrawal requests and of losing their investments.
🛡️ Protection Guide
- Clones of closed platforms: Trade360 has closed, so any site that uses its name is a fraudulent clone. Trade360.website and similar domains are in no way the official Trade360.
- Bitcoin investment robots: Sites advertising "Bitcoin Revolution" and similar automated investment robots deserve suspicion. Such systems are usually part of a scam network.
- Celebrity success stories: Ads on social networks in which celebrities claim "I became a millionaire with Trade360" are entirely fake. Real celebrities do not choose such risky platforms.
- Trademark and regulator checks: A platform can be checked in the official ASIC, FCA or CySEC databases. No version of Trade360 is registered with these bodies.
- Hidden fees: Even if the first deposit carries no fee, hidden fees that appear at the time of withdrawal are a sign of fraud.
- The purpose of account manager calls: When a broker discourages withdrawals and urges more deposits, that is the point at which the contact is best cut off.
Where harm has been suffered from Trade360 or its clones, the transaction records and communications with the platform are the documents usually brought together.
