UFX Scam Warning: Tel Aviv-Based Network, Cold Call Centres

UFX is a forex scam network run from its headquarters in Tel Aviv and subject to warnings from international financial authorities. The company operates high-pressure cold call centres in Tbilisi and Romania, deceives clients through fake advisers and quickly wipes their accounts to zero. UFX is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK).
🚩 Scam Methods
- Cold calling from Tbilisi: UFX runs call centres in Tbilisi and Romania and phones Western and Turkish clients aggressively. Staff make calls to people they do not know, pushing them straight into depositing money.
- Fake account managers: Clients are phoned by assigned "account managers" who promise imaginary profits and push for more deposits.
- Account reset: When the client has deposited and opened large positions, the account is suddenly reset and the whole investment disappears.
- Lack of oversight: When a withdrawal is requested, UFX refuses it, citing a "system error" or a "transaction limit".
- Quick cut-off of contact: After an account is closed, UFX cuts all communication with the client and stops providing support.

- IIROC warning (Canada): The Canadian self-regulatory organisation for the investment industry (IIROC) has issued a warning about UFX in Canada.

🛡️ Protection Guide
- Investment calls from unknown numbers: UFX and similar companies make international calls from Tbilisi and Romania. Investment calls from people the client does not know are best left unanswered or blocked.
- FCA, ASIC and IIROC warnings: UFX can be looked up on the official websites of the FCA, ASIC and IIROC. The company is listed there as a warned fraudulent operator.
- Brokers based in Tel Aviv: Brokers with a management centre in Israel that also use cold calling are a red flag. This combination is a strong sign of fraud.
- Account manager calls: If the account manager assigned by a broker keeps urging further deposits, ending the call and researching another broker is the calm response.
- Promises of fast profit: No legitimate broker guarantees a monthly return of 50% or more. Promises of this kind are fraud.
- Cold calls in general: Phone calls from brokers the client does not know are almost always fraud. No investment should be made without research.
Where harm has been suffered from UFX, the phone call records, email correspondence and transaction documents are the documents usually brought together.
