Weecoins (WCS) Scam: Crypto Packages and Pyramid Scheme

Weecoins is a crypto scheme built on its own token called WCS, promising earning channels such as "staking", "farming" and an AI trading robot. In Türkiye, members were brought into the system by buying packages through local coordinators organised city by city; it became clear only after the money was sent that the deposited money could not be withdrawn for a long time.
🔄 How the Weecoins System Works
According to victims' accounts, participation begins with guidance from people introduced as the platform's regional representatives. The member buys a package for dollars and a WCS balance is reflected in the account in return; however:
- the package money cannot be withdrawn before a long lock period ends (15 months in one reported example),
- when the period ends, withdrawal requests are held back citing a "system error" or a KYC obstacle,
- because a minimum sale price set above the market price applies to WCS sales, the balance cannot be turned into cash,
- income depends largely on the payments of newly recruited members,
- representatives blame a member who runs into problems for "not understanding the terms".
🔍 What Has Been Found About Weecoins
The domain weecoins.com was registered on 17 November 2019; the website promotes products such as WeeRobot, WeeCard, WeePoint and WeeZard without giving a company name, address or licence information. WCS is a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain; on crypto price-tracking sites its value has fallen to near zero after a peak of over 1 dollar at the end of 2021, and daily trading volume has effectively disappeared.
There are accounts that the scheme expanded to Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and that sales were also made in Baku through a branch.
⚖️ Legal Characterisation
Collecting money through an internet platform with an investment promise and then blocking the withdrawal of the balance may constitute qualified fraud under Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Penal Code, because computer systems are used as a tool. Weecoins does not appear in the list of SPK-authorised intermediary institutions; it is not authorised by SPK. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).
🔗 Other Schemes Selling Their Own Token
Platforms that issue their own coin and grow through packages and referrals follow a similar collapse:

🧭 The Legal Process for Weecoins Victims
The process starts with establishing to whom and into which account the money was sent; the role of the local coordinators and the share they received are assessed separately in terms of increased penalties for qualified fraudTR. An asset investigationTR is then carried out, and a restitution and unjust enrichment claimTR comes into play for the return of the money.
