WestiQuant AI presents itself as market intelligence "built with Canadian investors in mind": the system watches the markets around the clock, produces signals and opens trades itself according to account settings. At the centre of the promise is that the investor earns without doing anything.

🔍 What the Website Says

westiquant.com was registered in June 2026 and is still online. The page lists headings such as "continuous monitoring", "multi-market analysis" and "risk-aware signal"; every section leads the visitor to an account-opening form. Automated trading is said to run through "supported account providers", but who these providers are is not stated; there is also no operating company, licence number or address.

🚩 Why Is the Automated Signal a Trap?

In schemes of this kind an adviser calls the person who opened an account, asks for an initial deposit so that the system can run, and enlarges the amount by showing gains on the panel. When a withdrawal is requested, a new payment appears under the name of a "signal licence" or an "account upgrade". SPK Decision No. 5/173 warns investors against unauthorised investment guidance over the internet.
