Winex Markets Scam Warning: Shifting Lot Rules Block Withdrawals

Winex Markets is a forex/CFD platform that gathers investors from Türkiye through Instagram ads and "advisers" who make contact over WhatsApp, offering index, commodity and crypto trading on a MetaTrader 5 screen. Victim accounts describe that after the money is deposited, lot and trading-time conditions that were never mentioned beforehand are imposed one after another at the withdrawal stage, and that the balance is not paid out on the grounds of these conditions.

In short: Winex Markets (sometimes also referred to as "Winex Global Markets") is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) and has been the subject of an unlicensed-entity warning by the Capital Market Authority of Montenegro. Its main method is to lock the money by arbitrarily changing the lot condition and the "trading time" rule once a withdrawal is requested. Claiming back money sent to this scheme is legally possible.

🚨 False Trust, Constant Demands for Money

Winex Markets appears to build its target audience especially through Instagram ads, with communication continuing over phone and WhatsApp messages after the first contact. An "adviser" or "expert" is assigned to the user; the account is opened on MetaTrader 5 and in the first days the balance appears profitable.

Withdrawal requests are either ignored or rejected with excuses such as supposedly missing transactions, a withholding tax/tax charge and an obligation to trade. The people assigned as representatives steer the user into new trades; it is reported that trades were opened on the account without the user's knowledge, that they turned into losses and that in the end the account was reset to zero. This staff structure is the typical picture of a fake investment call-centre operation made up of representatives who keep callingTR.

Another tactic of the firm is to try to build a trustworthy image by showing problems as "resolved" on complaint platforms. According to user reports, the representatives first win trust with a polite and attentive manner, and once the demand for money is not met they switch to an indifferent or threatening attitude.

🚩 The Shifting Lot and "Seconds" Rule: How Is the Withdrawal Locked?

Victim accounts from the spring of 2026 show in detail how the withdrawal block is built step by step. Before the investment the user is told that there is no lot condition and that only no withdrawal can be made during the first 15 days. On the day a profit withdrawal is requested, the picture changes:

  • Lot condition added later: Together with the withdrawal request, a condition of "completing 15 lots within 15 days" appears.
  • Trading-time rule: The next day the "expert" states in writing that trades must stay open for at least 120 seconds.
  • Verbal flexibility: The "customer satisfaction" unit tells the user by phone that it is possible to proceed with 0.20 lots instead of 1 lot a day, keeping the user trading.
  • Changing the rule: When the lot condition is completed, it is announced that the time must now be 180 seconds and the trades made are treated as "invalid".
  • Double standard: The losses and commissions arising from the same trades are deducted from the balance, yet these trades are not counted towards the lot condition.
  • Retaliation for complaints: It is reported that pressure is applied, saying that as long as the user complains no withdrawal will be allowed and "different conditions" will apply.

This scheme is a variant of the method of locking withdrawals with lot and trading-volume conditionsTR: the conditions rest not on a written contract but on what the representative said that day, and are rewritten each time one is completed. In this way the user is pushed both to trade more and to see the balance eaten away through commissions and losses.

🔍 Findings About Winex Markets

  • Names used: Winex, Winex Markets, Winex Global Markets; the expression "Winex Yatırım ortaklığı" (Winex Investment Partnership) also appears in user reports.
  • Domain names: winexmarkets.com together with numbered clone addresses (for example winexmarkets4.com and winexmarkets28.com). A series of numbered domain names shows that a new address is opened in place of one hit by an access ban.
  • Stated headquarters: An address in Podgorica, Montenegro; yet a landline with an Istanbul code and a Turkish-speaking representative staff are used.
  • Referral channels: Instagram ads, phone calls, WhatsApp messages.
  • Platform: MetaTrader 5; index, commodity and crypto CFD trading.
  • Official warning: The Capital Market Authority of Montenegro declared the trade name "Winex / Winex Markets" an unlicensed entity on 12.01.2026; the warning was also published on the IOSCO warning network on 20.01.2026.
  • SPK registration: None (SPK list of authorised brokerage firms).

Decision No. 5/173 of the Capital Markets Board dated 03.02.2017 is a warning against unauthorised investment referral through social media and messaging apps. Schemes of this kind are also assessed under the qualified fraud provisionsTR of the Turkish Penal Code.

📅 Waves of Reports: From 2025 to 2026

  • First half of 2025: Users gathered through Instagram ads; constant new payment demands on the pretext of tax, swap and trading conditions, and accounts reset to zero through trades steered by representatives.
  • January 2026: Unlicensed-entity warning in Montenegro; activity continued under new numbered domain names.
  • March–May 2026: An "adviser" and "expert" staff working over WhatsApp; first a waiting period for withdrawal, then the lot condition added later and the 120/180-second trading rule used to lock profit and principal.

Although the reason for the withdrawal block changes in each wave, the result is the same: the deposited money is held on the platform with excuses that never rest on a written, previously notified condition.

🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method

A scheme that puts forward a lot or trading-volume condition when a withdrawal is requested is not unique to Winex Markets. We have covered other platforms where the same scheme was seen:

🧭 The Legal Process for Victims

  1. For money sent by bank transfer or crypto, the routes for a refund from a foreign forex firm are assessed.
  2. For the representatives and the accounts the money reached, the criminal complaint process is carried out; WhatsApp correspondence and messages about the conditions that were changed later carry the weight of evidence in this process.
  3. If the platform puts forward a foreign-law and arbitration clause, the validity of the arbitration clause in disputes with foreign brokers is examined separately.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Are Winex Markets and Winex Global Markets the same scheme?

In user reports the two names appear together with the same Turkish representative staff, the same product range and the same withdrawal-block scheme. Whichever name is encountered, there is no SPK authorisation.

I completed the lot condition but my trades were treated as invalid because of the 180-second rule. What does this mean?

A rule that was not notified in writing beforehand and was changed after the condition was completed is a typical excuse used to delay a withdrawal. Deducting losses and commissions from the balance while not counting the same trades towards the condition is part of this scheme.

Are addresses such as winexmarkets4.com or winexmarkets28.com different firms?

Numbered domain names are backup addresses of the same brand; when one address is blocked, the activity continues under a new number. The unlicensed-entity warning in Montenegro also covers one of these numbered addresses.

After a complaint, pressure comes saying "we will not allow a withdrawal". Is this normal?

No. In user reports, new conditions and threatening messages after a complaint stand out as signs that the withdrawal block is being kept up deliberately. This correspondence matters in the legal process.
