XSocio / TradingPRO Scam Warning: FCA-Flagged Forex Broker

An investor who searches for XSocio today ends up on the page of a different brand: the address xsocio.com redirects directly to TradingPRO. In other words, the old brand has not closed; it continues to operate under the TradingPRO name. For a Turkish investor, what matters is not the change of name but the fact that neither name holds permission to provide investment services in Türkiye.

In short: XSocio / TradingPRO is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). It is an offshore operation offering high-leverage forex and CFD accounts, and it has been the subject of an unauthorised firm warning in the United Kingdom. Claiming back money sent through unauthorised intermediation is legally possible.

🔄 How Did XSocio Become TradingPRO?

The domain xsocio.com has been registered since 2018 and today sends visitors to the TradingPRO home page. The change of brand means that accounts opened and complaints made under the old name continue under the new umbrella. How the platform operates is covered separately in our article on TradingPRO forexTR, written under the brand's current name.

⚖️ Licence Claims and Risk Points

  • The United Kingdom's financial regulator, the FCA, published an unauthorised financial services warning for tradingpro.com on 26 June 2025.
  • Leverage of up to 1:2000 in forex trading can wipe out a balance after a small price movement.
  • Although the group declares registrations in South Africa and Mauritius, these foreign licences are not valid for investment services in Türkiye.

The platform does not appear on the SPK list of authorised intermediary institutions. Intermediating leveraged trading without permission for people resident in Türkiye is treated as the offence of unauthorised activity under Article 109 of Capital Markets Law No. 6362.

🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method

We have previously reviewed high-leverage operations that use a foreign licence claim as a sign of trust.

🧭 The Legal Process for Victims

  1. First, the validity of the account opening agreementTR is examined.
  2. The effect of the overseas arbitration clause on the Turkish investor in the contract is assessed.
  3. A restitution and unjust enrichment claimTR then comes into question.
