Bitrue Warning: FCA, OSC and Seychelles FSA Alerts

Bitrue is an international crypto exchange at bitrue.com that offers crypto trading, futures and yield products. In November 2026 the UK financial regulator, the FCA, added Bitrue to its list of unauthorised firms; this is not the first regulatory warning about the platform.
🔍 Regulatory Warnings About Bitrue
- FCA (4 November 2026): Bitrue / www.bitrue.com is not authorised and may be targeting people in the United Kingdom. The FCA states that those who deal with this firm cannot use compensation and complaint mechanisms (FCA warning).
- Seychelles FSA (8 October 2025): announced that the company operating bitrue.com has no legal or operational link with Seychelles and holds no virtual asset service permit.
- Ontario Securities Commission (OSC): published a warning about an unregistered/unlicensed entity in 2022.
The official channels announced by the platform are t.me/Bitrue_official, x.com/BitrueOfficial and youtube.com/@BitrueOfficial. Similar domains such as bitrues.com are a separate clone operation and should not be confused with the real site.
🚩 Risks Facing Users of an Unauthorised Crypto Exchange
On exchanges that operate with an overseas registration or licence claim, the user's assets are held in an account that is subject to no local supervision. If the account is restricted, withdrawals are delayed or the platform becomes inaccessible, there is no protection fund to turn to. Fake apps and social media accounts using the Bitrue name are a separate area of risk.
