Prim West S.A. Scam: Fake Swiss Investment Company Warning

Prim West S.A. is a website that presents itself as a privately managed Geneva-based Swiss investment company and promises regular dividends by selling shares tied to "tangible assets" such as gold, oil and solar energy. FINMA, the Swiss financial supervisor, has placed primwestsa.com on its warning list for unauthorised activity.
🚩 How the Asset-Backed Share Promise Is Built
The site says capital is allocated to gold reserves, oil assets, renewable energy and aviation projects, and promises "qualified" shareholders a quarterly report, an annual dividend and periodic distributions. Registration is shown as "subject to internal approval" and limited by quota to create urgency, while payment is tied, without detail, to "approved digital payment methods".
- Two different share prices are written on the same page; the claims about large assets and shareholders rest on no audit.
- The contact telephone number is a placeholder; there is no licence, register or regulator number.
- In schemes of this kind, additional payments are often requested after the first payment on the grounds of an "allocation approval".
🔍 Findings About primwestsa.com
The domain primwestsa.com was registered in April 2026. In an entry dated 26.10.2026, FINMA added primwestsa.com and mail.primwestsa.com to its warning list and stated that these sites have no connection with the real PRIMWEST SA, which is registered in Geneva and provides accounting and family office services. The real company has nothing to do with this investment offer; the similarity of names is part of a clone-site scheme that imitates an institution's name. The platform is not on the SPK list; Article 109 of Capital Markets Law No. 6362 makes unauthorised capital markets activity a criminal offence.
🔗 Other Platforms Using the Same Method
This scheme of gaining trust through the look of a Swiss company is not the only example; we have previously covered operations following similar steps.
- kanz-group.ch: a clone of a Swiss investment company
- c4-first.ch: an imitation of a Geneva wealth manager
- equifid-sa.com: a clone asset management site with an "S.A." suffix
- investvision-ag.com: a clone site with a Swiss "AG" title
🧭 The Legal Process for Victims
The process generally opens with the start of a criminal investigation; an asset searchTR is then carried out for the accounts the money went to. Where the other side appears to be abroad, the question of jurisdiction in disputes with overseas entities is assessed separately.
