Smarts-capitals.com is a forex trading website whose extra "s" makes it resemble common brand names of the "Smart Capital" type. On 30 September 2026 the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) placed the site on its warning list for offering unauthorised financial services in the United Kingdom.

🚩 Imitating a Brand with a Single Letter

In schemes of this kind the domain name is taken by adding a letter, a hyphen or a plural ending to a known financial brand. When the user searches for the name heard on the phone, the positive content that appears is mistaken for belonging to this site. After the account is opened, an investment manager suggests trades, while withdrawal of profit is tied to an additional verification payment. The FCA warning contains no telephone number or address for the firm; contact is made only through email and calls by representatives.

smarts-capitals.com does not appear in the SPK list of authorised institutions. By its Decision No. 8/297 of 24.02.2017, SPK determined that acting as an intermediary for foreign leveraged trading platforms is an unauthorised activity.
