IMGPartners.cm and IM-Global.cm Scam: Cloned Asset Manager

This operation shortened the name of an asset management firm that really operates in Luxembourg and moved it to addresses ending in ".cm", the Cameroon extension, instead of ".com". It collected investors first through imgpartners.cm and then through im-global.cm. Visitors were given the impression that they were working with an established fund manager, while the money went to a trading panel with no connection to that firm.
🎭 Whose Name Was Used?
The name imitated is that of iM Global Partner Asset Management S.A., a company registered in Luxembourg. In July 2026 the Luxembourg financial authority, the CSSF, issued a warning against fake activities run in this company's name; it recorded that the scammers used email addresses in the form [email protected] and a presentation page set up on figma.site. The real company has no connection with these sites and has no legal entity in Türkiye.
In such brokerage and company clone sites, the "representative" first shows the real company's registry details and then directs the investor to deposit money into a separate webtrader account.
🔍 Two Domains, Four Official Warnings
- In May 2026 Italy's capital markets authority, CONSOB, listed imgpartners.cm, webtrader.imgpartners.cm and client.imgpartners.cm for unauthorised activity.
- In September 2026 the Norwegian financial authority, Finanstilsynet, warned about fraud run under the same company name.
- For the new address im-global.cm, CONSOB's blocking order reached the international warning network on 29 October 2026.
- As of 30 October 2026, imgpartners.cm opens with a "suspected phishing" warning in browser security layers, while im-global.cm does not respond.
The operation is not authorised by the SPK; this can be checked through the list of SPK-authorised brokerage firms. The licence of the real company in Luxembourg is not valid for investment services in Türkiye either. Unauthorised capital markets activity is defined as a criminal offence in Article 109 of Capital Markets Law No. 6362.
