Swift Global Trade Scam: Fake SEC, CySEC and BaFin Licence Claims

Swift Global Trade is a platform that claims to be supervised at the same time by US, Cypriot and German regulators and opens forex accounts with promises of high returns. None of these claims, attributed to three separate authorities, is matched by the records of the institutions concerned.

In short: Swift Global Trade is not authorised in Türkiye by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). The scheme tries to build trust with an invented regulatory number and several foreign licence claims; withdrawals are reported to be restricted. Tracing the money sent is legally possible.

🚩 A Licence Claim Resting on Three Regulators at Once

The platform highlights a registration number that it says belongs to the US SEC, together with CySEC and BaFin licences; yet no registration under this name exists with the SEC and NFA, nor with the Cypriot and German authorities. In schemes of this kind the licence number is placed at the bottom of the site on the assumption that the user will not check it; the investment is then taken with a promise of high returns, and money is sent without any licence checkTR. Before investing, check whether a platform is authorised by the regulator in your own country (for example the FCA, ASIC or SEC).

🔍 The Trail of the swiftglobaltrade.com Domain

The domain is reported to have first been used in 2023; the current registration dates from June 2026, and today the address shows only an "under construction" page. Cut-off user communication and a site taken out of service are a stage often seen after a withdrawal block in schemes of this kind. The platform does not appear on the SPK list; acts of this kind, where computer systems are used as the tool, are assessed as qualified fraud under Article 158/1-f of the Turkish Penal Code.

🔗 Other Examples Operating with Fake Licences

Swift TradeXTR is a different scheme with a similar name. Other platforms built around an invented licence claim:

🧭 Outline of the Criminal Process

The case moves from the investigation stage that begins with a criminal complaint to the process leading to an indictmentTR; if the act is argued to be qualified fraudTR, the penalty becomes heavier. For detailed information and legal support, you can contact Savun Law & Consultancy.
