Abans Global Scam Warning: Locked Positions and Clone Sites

The name Abans Global is presented to Turkish investors as a London-based forex broker with a "UK licence". Once money is deposited, the trades are handed to an "account manager", positions are locked, and more money is requested to withdraw; these are the common points in the losses reported under this name.
🚩 The Scheme Operating Under the Abans Global Name
In the reported cases, a "business manager" or "expert" deals with the investor and personally opens the trades on the MT5 account. Positions opened on gold and currency pairs are at some point locked (hedged); new money is then requested on the grounds of unlocking them or raising the margin ratio.
- The account is run by a "manager" instead of the investor
- A request for additional investment to cover a margin that appears negative
- Withdrawal approval made conditional on a new deposit
- Delay under the excuse of "system maintenance" or a "regulatory block"
- A new obstacle appearing each time money is paid in
🔍 Domain Names Found and Look-Alike Names
The official domain of the brand appears to be abansglobal.co.uk. Alongside it, abansgiobal.co.uk, with one letter changed ("i" instead of "l"), was found to be a shop front offering crypto CFDs and high leverage with a claimed UK licence. The letter-swapped abnasglobal.com and abnasglobal.cc were used in a crypto scheme in which a "friend" met over WhatsApp gets the victim to download an app and then requests payments called "tax" and "penalty" at the withdrawal stage.
In the scheme called Abnas Global, with swapped letters, contact was made through WeChat as well as WhatsApp; an account using a female identity dealt with the investor, an app was downloaded and crypto transfers were made. When the investor tried to withdraw the extraordinarily high balance shown on the panel, payments called first "tax" and then "penalty" were requested again and again, and no withdrawal was made at any stage. This flow is a typical example of the "pig butchering" scheme, which starts with a romantic or friendship theme and continues with a fake crypto platform.
An investor who is told the name "Abans Global" but sees a differently spelled address in the browser has most likely dealt with one of these copy operations.
📅 Official Warnings and Timeline
The domain abnasglobal.com was added on 5 July 2024 to the warning list of the Luxembourg financial regulator CSSF as a site offering unauthorised financial services, and the warning was also published in IOSCO I-SCAN, the joint warning network of international securities regulators. The activity of the same operation at abnasglobal.cc also entered the crypto fraud watchlist of the California financial regulator in the United States at the end of 2025 as a fake crypto platform.
These dates show that look-alike names resembling Abans have been used since at least mid-2024, and that when a domain name entered a warning list, the same name was kept alive under a different extension (from .com to .cc). Offers of "Abans Global" to investors in Türkiye were still being reported in 2026.
⚖️ What Does a UK Licence Mean in Türkiye?
Although Abans Global Limited has an FCA registration in the UK, it is not authorised in Türkiye by the SPK; the current list can be seen on the SPK page of authorised intermediary institutions. SPK Decision No. 8/297 of 24.02.2017 describes connecting investors in Türkiye with foreign leveraged trading firms as unauthorised activity. Collecting money with an investment promise and then blocking withdrawal is examined as qualified fraud under Article 158 of the Turkish Penal Code.

- The case is taken to a criminal investigation through the criminal complaint process.
- An asset investigationTR is carried out for the holders of the accounts that received the money.
- For amounts that left the country, ways of getting a refund from a foreign firm are assessed.
